If Tony Stark dies, who inherits his empire?
First of all, this doesn't HAVE to be in the "line of duty", as Iron Man-it can be due to natural causes, but if Tony Stark dies, then who will inherit his empire in legal terms-esp as he has no known heir( shame on you, Tony, all that "bachelor playboy" business and you seemingly NEVER thought of settling down a providing a heir- he doesn't have to marry as the life of a hero is dangerous enough- he can adopt)? Hard to believe that this NEVER crossed his mind during all these years!(not only is he one of the richest men in the Marvel Universe but also one of the smartest reportedly)

I'm sure if you took a look at his will, it would end up going to Pepper.
Also, yes, a large portion would go to Super Viagra.  EDIT: Mod's deleted the post where the bot is promoting Super Viagra, so now my post seems out of place.

There will be "Damien" or Stark Jr down the line. Mommy could be Pepper, Madame Masque, Bethany Cabe, or any other females.
Comics have also shown Tony Stark is capable of transferring his memory and consciousness to another electromechanical entity. Stark will still "lives" in a mainframe and/or robotic husk somewhere. |

Movie Stark would settle down with Pepper eventually and have a kid whose like a more serious version of Stark. Post Civil War Stark would transfer his mind into his armor AND TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
Animated Universe Stark would also transfer his mind but he'd become an Iron Superman of sorts, guiding and helping a new age of heroes and being a paragon of virtue and such.

...kidding. But yeah. I thought he was all into 'the next generation' and 'what we choose to leave behind.' shouldn't he have at least thought of an heir? Plus his worst fear being his inventions, um, bastardized? By people who would use them for bad things. He needs to get a girl--a PERMANENT girl(okay maybe even a temporary one would do) and have and Iron Kid fast!! I mean if Red Skull could do it... |

He'd probably give it too Pepper/Rhodey, and donate money to charities.
Or give money to people like Reed Richards and Peter Parker to continue his work and work on their own ideas. I would think he'd have some plan in place that wouldn't allow his various suits to be useful after his death. Except a few, which he's like, "You are people I trust completely, so heres an Iron Man suit".
