How much to those bulbs cost, and how long do they last in a projector?

B89 looks excellent on my 55' LED television. It was a big jump from the childhood VHS days.

Still a fan of plasma to be honest. I've just not seen a picture to match the Pioneer Kuro. Shame they stopped making those... Plus, I don't have that much room for it. I couldn't go larger than 60" anyway what with the size wall and living room that I have

They say it's like 5,000. Honestly, I didn't even have to replace the bulb on my old projector. It was time to upgrade before I even got to that point. I think the bulbs run around 150-300 bucks. Well worth it if it only has to be replaced every couple of years.

Oh, plasmas look great. It's just the price on them that dissuades a lot of people.

But hey, if you can swing it, I'm all for it.

Oh totally! Even 3-4 years ago they were still outrageous. They have come down heaps in the last 18 months.

I watched this movie a few days ago, and posted a review on an online magazine I write articles for here: http://www.culturalzest.com/2012/06/...s-batman-1989/

It's a great film. Honestly, what can I say? Well, you can read my article if you like

The Cathedral as a Batman environment is perfect. This dark, lonely and haunted place.

Awesome, I was 3 when Batman 89 came out.

P.S I still think that is one of the best movie posters of all time.

I still cannot believe that B89 was 23 years ago! I remember seeing it in theaters as a child.

...and yeah, the picture of Batman in the cathedral above is exactly what Batman should look like.

I agree.

I can't believe that out of the 6 Batman movies, he has his cape covering him only for the first two.

Fantastic! I've never seen that before. I celebrated last night by watching the movie on blu-ray... and smiling nearly the whole time. Bless my wife for putting up with both Burton Batman movies over the last couple of days

Yeah just not a fan of Batman in general I think. She doesn't dislike Batman, or the films, but rather just seems nonchalant & un-interested overall. I think she gets more of a kick out of the fact that I enjoy them so much

I'm not that scared of Batman having being released 23 years ago, but I'm terrified that its 20th anniversary was just yesterday.
