I would have been genuinely surprised if the bride was Nora. With Robin...I saw it coming since last season's finale.

Actually when I think about, Nora would have been the most surprising.

The bride should've been Ted's mom. Have Barney swipe her away from that hippie freak she was with. Ted would be so mad. It would be beautiful.

![]() The show does have heart, while The Office infuriates a lot of us by continuing on, HIMYM is past it's prime but the characters keep bringing you back to check in on them. I saw the season premiere/finale and a handful of episodes throughout the season, it can be cute but you can't hate the show. CBS is a ratings fortress and HIMYM is one of the top shows in overall viewers and especially in the 18-49 demo. This will keep the show on until the producers say it is time. It was close to being canceled a few years ago (CBS' high standards) and once it got that renewal it grew to where it is now so I'm sure they're in no rush to end it. Hopefully it goes 1 more season, it will likely last 9 or 10 seasons if they want to spend a season with the mother (Ted's daughter being born in 2015).

I've been done with The Office way before Carrell left, watched the episodes when he left, and then stopped watching again.
The Office needs to die. |

with Robin, I get that he was still hung up on her, but with Victoria (she was great don't get me wrong) but, she hasn't been part of his life since, he's not constantly comparing the other women he's dated since, to her until she show up again last season, he's barely ever mentioned her, they had there little moment, an I thought that was the door closing on that chapter an BTW did anyone else find Robins speech to Ted, about always going after unavailable women, then telling him to call a girl, who as far as he knew was still engaged, if not already married... very ironic I like to think that he wasn't actually running away with her, when he pasted the church, just going to a hotel, like he jokingly suggested Last edited by Spider-Fan83; 05-21-2012 at 09:11 AM. |

Marshall's sex change storyline really came as a surprise, didn't it?

Um...okay. Party is still cool here, I see.
I like Robin...a lot...not because she is canadian and has five dogs...and is a reporter but...she's a very good person...I mean I was moved by the scene when Ted walked away from the limo after her 'boyfriend' showed up on new years eve and realizes how his chance with Robin will never come to light until...that moment when she gets out of the limo and goes to him. They kiss....and then there's that part where they end up making out on the couch...like Wow...hot...she was really bringing something to that couch. and yeah... I won't go there since I'm trying hard to make this post PG 13. heh. lol.

Michael Trucco Returning as Robin's love interest
That's pretty cool. At the end of his episode back in season 6, future Ted made it sound like there was more to his story, but I wasn't sure we'd see him again.

Nice! I remember they had to change some plans because he was involved in another show, but its good to see that they're finally getting a chance to continue it.

At times the actors on the show seem like they don't care for the show, at least they don't take it so seriously sometimes. Jason Seagul (spelling?) has said when there is a joke he doesn't like or a line he doesn't think works he will make a face to try and improve it. He has also said that the show has to end soon and that he sumbitted a post apocalyptic future for the end of the show and wrote a letter to Hillary Clinton to be the mother at the end of the show.
Seems like sometimes they think, man this show is silly. |

Jason Segel has said many times when his contract is up which is this season he is done. So this show can't go on more than this season
