This is one thing we can agree on, lol. Ruffalo was great and all, but I loved Edward Norton as Banner.

Nope, Ruffalo is the best.

Norton is Norton playing Bixby, playing Hulk.

Not bad, but I like Ruffalo much more.

I agree with Ruffalo being good. I warmed up to him.

I just think it would have been loads better with Norton simply for continuity. It felt like a completely new character, and nothing like the one in The Incredible Hulk.

The eyes didn't flicker green, the sizes were different...it was very different continuity-wise and not just of the different actors playing Bruce Banner.

And no, I didn't feel like Norton was just trying to "be" Bixby. I hate that comparison.

I do think Norton reminded me of Bixby a little bit. Really a mix of both comics/Bixby.

Being reminded is one thing, as well as the origin itself feeling like the series, but to say Norton was just trying to "be" Bixby and not his own character...I just don't get that extremity.

i agree with this. I don't see the trying to be Bixby thing at all and I used to watch the TV show religiously when I was a kid

J. Jonah Jameson has always been one of my favorite characters. He's hilarious. Especially in the movies and TSSM.

Yeah, I watched SM1 tonight, I realized how much it's gonna suck for the next guy that plays JJJ to have to live up to that.

Still enjoyed it, as always. Now, onto SM2
