I was kinda hoping for something that would contrast the Season 9 cover art. Something like Clark in the red Blur suit standing on a rooftop with the sun shining bright behind him. That way, it would symbolize the whole "stepping out into the light" thing which is a HUGE theme behind season 10. Hell, even a screenshot of the first time we saw the red jacket would have been better than this lame excuse for a finale cover art.

Well, I guess we should at least be thankful for:

1. The fact that the show didn't resort to doing, on what a good number of people from what I saw, had feared: erasing everyone's memory except Clark or revealing everything to have been a dream sequence for the character in order to maintain strict accuracy to the comic mythology, which meant that most of the characters presented on Smallville shouldn't have known Clark the way they did at the time that they did on the show.

2. The fact that they decided to actually dive into the years where Clark really developed his hero persona instead of just ending the show with Clark going into the FOS for X Amount of years and just emerging afterwards all transformed into Superman like his film counterpart.
