You know I really don't think the shows going to suddenly suck after, the writers have restrictions. Disney isn't stupid, this shows featured marvel characters I've never seen on TV before and has created an extensive universe. Do you realize how many toys they can make just off of what we've gotten so far!? Lets face it, it the TV isn't going to make HALF the money that the toys it sells will. In the breakout episode alone we saw tons of super villains and supporting characters, and they all make every super villain look cool!

When I'm watching this show I'm a 20 year old man remembering my own toy playing days, shaking my head because I didn't realize how cool so many characters actually were back then. The good plots are a key part of that and the way they make me get involved with and believe these cartoon people!

Plus look at the Avengers film right now at the Box Office it made 200 plus million dollars opening weekend alone, and in its now two week North American run, its made over a billion dollars. This is an enormous opportunity for them to make huge amounts of money on avengers and marvel merchandise in general! The cartoon series is the best toy commercial they have for the kids who want more Avengers after seeing the movie. If I had to guess most likely the stories will be heavily influenced by the film, and they're gonna cram a lot of characters into it.

With how much money thats riding on this however, I don't think they're gonna risk screwing up the quality too much, and losing ratings.

I have read a few interviews from EMH people that say there should be no noticeable difference when the second half of the season starts. I can only hope that is the case. But really, I'll believe it when I see it. Just the meer potential that we could get Loebisodes scare me to death.

To be fair, a lot of B:TAS episodes were one-shot episodes with a two-parter here and there.

If the speculation about the show's basically already being canceled is correct, they wouldn't care about the quality of the episodes or what it'd do to the ratings. Granted, that's all just speculation. I'm sure nobody's going to set out to do a bad job regardless; the problem is that nobody's trying to do a bad job on any terrible show. But the show still turns out to be terrible anyway.

Wait and see, though. That's all we can do at this point.

And what's more, since Thor's on his own in this episode---Mostly---You can expect QUITE a bit of Thor action.

Speaking of, Marvel's got a clip online. And that one scene has me loving BRB already!

I have to admit, I've never been a big Beta Ray Bill fan. I don't dislike him or anything, just never been as drop dead ravenous for him like a lot of Marvel fans here. That said, I think this will be a great episode, and Bill being an alien may help link Thor back with the other characters in the seasonal plot.

Sheesh, I hope Thor puts up more of a fight in the full episode than he does in that clip.

It's the first time we've seen him in action all season and he's already getting beat up.

That's just being true to the comics. Thor does terribly against Bill in their first two encounters. Every other time they fight over the years, Thor utterly dominates Bill, though. Chalk it up to first appearance mojo, which this show is already well-acquainted with.

Imo their 1st fight was a bit of a tie, besides what's the point of Thor being around if Bill is just a better version? Seriously, I'm getting kind of tired of A:EMH's "let me stand around and and wait to get punched" version of Thor.

MCU Thor >>> EMH Thor

Totally ready for tomorrow. Really excited, since it's one of my all-time favorite Thor stories ever. We are keeping this Walt Simonson-related party 'THOR IN THE MORNIN' style)

random question to some of the posters on here. i've noticed that in this thread and other tv show threads after an episode airs people will review the episode, but a some posters also summarize the episode of give a play by play of everything that happend. if you are one of the posters that does this, why do you? this isn't an attack at all, just something i've been curious about. i assume the reason people are on the board is to talk about what they either just watched or the upcoming episode, and i figure by the time you have done your review most people on here have already seen the episode and don't need the summary. i guess posts like that remind me of something that would be in a newspaper or a blog maybe? anyway like i said this isn't an attack, im just interested in hearing why you do things the way you do

dread you are the only person off the top of my head that i know that does this because you write beast essays and have a very memorable avatar, when i read your posts i feel like i'm reading something that is supposed to be professional (like i said in a newspaper) as opposed to the way people commonly write on message boards

They just do it because they prefer to discuss it in a summary style, or they actually have a blog/review site in which they do it. It's basically become expected.
