I'm not sure. I think it was the same situation as Sunspot personally, except I know that Vaughn had Tony Rich in mind for Synch.

There are far more examples of bad adaptations not going well with critics, audience and fans. If your talking line for line panel for panel then yeah that wont work for all films. I loved Watchmen but can also see it put things in there 'just because'. As a geek, it's a terrific film. For anyone else, it was a bit of a mystery.

If they followed Wolverines Wepon X Origin from comics or what was lead to be a much more violent and meaningfull Weapon X project in X2 then that would have helped with XMOW. Instead its Wolverine meets other mutants and does nothing the movie. Messing with things and having no respect for the characters is what led to bad films. And like Ive pointed out before not everyone hates X3 and Origins, its mostly the fans. Be it fans of the movies or comics. X3 did huge sales in Box office, DVD and holds decent audience ratings on online sites like RT. FC should stick on the path its made. Any characters they add or develop further should be driven from the comics. The plots more then likely not gonna resemble the comic in any way. Messing with character personalities and powers are what will piss me off. The reason FC exists is beacuse of the other films failures, so I guess thats one good thing to come out of the bad films. Encouraging to mess with future X films characters source material is a bad idea.

What/who would you like to see in the next film(s) in the First Class series?

Further development of Magneto. Hes the reason why FC is good, and I think they nailed a majority of reasons why hes such a good character. Keep developing him and Prof X first and foremost. The film also needs the public to discover and be scared ****less of mutants. It should be the main focus of FC2 imo. Im not really digging the idea of having another villain besides Magneto. Theres enough goen on without another villain. Humanity can play that role, and hopefully bring in at the least the idea for Sentinles. The first discovery of mutants is a perfect chance to introduce them. Id also rather see time given to build on Emma and others on each team rather then another main villain who will only play out one movie. Emma should be played up as more intelligent, manipulative and looking out for her own motives. Mystique should turn lethal and the X team needs to do something to feel more significant. It would also probably be a good idea to start leading into Havoks family and his past since Scott will eventually be introduced. Sinister seems to be the favorite pick for the villain but Id rather they wait and use him when Cycs back in the films.

As far as new X characters, it really doesnt matter to me too much at this point, the X characters they choose seem to just be random picking of who hasnt been used yet and power contrast for battles. Dazzler makes the most sense to me I guess cause of the time period and vibe of FC. The X men really need some ladies on their side since they all bailed out. Magneto doesnt have it so bad right now haha, hes got a naked blue girl who can turn into anyone, Emma and a Stripper. I say bring on a few more hot actresses on team X and a wild card.

Yeah, I have my problems with Watchmen. The general audience might not complain about comic inaccuracy but they wont complain when its accurate either. 300 and Sin City were pretty big with both crowds and the Avengers even though not a direct adaptation is a huge success. I see way more pros then cons.

I only brought him up because he was the only one "attached" to the role, and as for his age, it depends how he was viewed by the director. Remember, Angel Salvatore and Darwin were not originally around the same era or age as the other characters of the movie.

Oh lol. BTW.....I am an actor and I recently got to work with M Night Shyamalan, Will(Bslapping)Smith,and Jaden Smith. Zoe is in the movie. I met her. She's cute in person. It's funny cause I did a movie in November with Jennifer Lawrence. I never talked to her but my friend did. I plan on getting a role or some involvement in this sequel.

One thing that I'm sure will happen in a sequel: Magneto using the attempt to nuke the mutants at Cuba to motivate other mutants into sharing his cause.

Sunspot would've been an incredibly-expensive character unless they were planning on writing out his full body form. Something tells me that Havok replaced Sunspot. I've never heard anything about Synch being involved, though.

Yeah, Vaughn cut Sunspot cause he said they couldnt get him to work with the money they had. He was chosen by Singer for the contrast of having Ice on one side in a symbolic form of Emma Frost and Fire on the other.

I thought that was more of an effect derived from her diamond form, like an impenetrable shield that was as impervious as diamond.

I dug it. I liked the split screen montage as well, which alot seem to think is too cheesy. With a longer time to develop I hope to see Vaughn take some more stylistic choices. Yeah, I loved the split-screen montage; it was a nod to the style of the sixties as well as a nod to comic panels. Plus it covered a lot of different scenes adequately (you had simultaneous views of different characters' reactions at the same time - i.e. Moira's smile when Charles is working with Banshee with the glass panes,) in a short amount of time. It was definitely more effective than a traditional montage. Sometimes stylistic choices similar to that take me out of a film, but it didn't here. It felt right.

Yeah, it definitely fit in with the time period. I like how the end credits fit in with that vibe as well.

Oh yeah, me too, at one point the colored lines and circles form the modern Cerebro door. I think they had planned on using it as the opener, actually.

Wow bro. My post was about synch and I didn't know he was even in the draft of the first one. I posted that just in case people didn't believe me and I thought there were some Zoe Kravitz fans here and Jennifer fans. And the fact that a black mutant was going to be used in the first movie. That was news to me. That's what I posted that I am an actor myself. Not seeking attention boss. It just came back to me that I met both of them and I thought hey the fans here might want to know that since I might be able to be in the next movie.

In fact I don't even post on superherohype like that. So if I were seeking attention I would have done so along time ago. There's a difference between stating I did something and saying hey look at me! I'm a huge xmen fan and I loved first class. Don't take my post about no one saying anything to literally pal.

For a movie about equality and civil rights I hope that they include more nationalities. As an actor that's pretty frustrating. Which is my whole reason for mentioning and inquiring about another black mutant being added. But don't take this the wrong way. I understand.

What characters would you want brought on?
