If they have to do a MP component, I hope it is only main campaign Co-Op. Other than that, I hope they go against the grain and solely focus on the single player experience and not include MP at all.

Ever since Naughty Dog first unveiled its PlayStation 3 exclusive, The Last of Us, it's been at the top of my must see list. Thankfully, after finally seeing it in action, it's still at the top.

My demo began with what's depicted in The Last of Us Hunter City trailer, with our heroes, Joel and Ellie ambushed by a bunch of survivors. After crashing into the convenience store, the game begins with Ellie dragged from the car as Joel is forced into a fight for his life; the player needs to pound a button to avoid being impaled on glass. He then is able to move about the environment, hunting down his hunters, but in a world where ammo is scarce, he's fiercly outnumbered and who knows what hides in the shadows.

Because a fun, compelling story isn't replayable.

In all serious though. I feel that MP always hurts the SP campaign in games like this.

Multiplayer is fun why wouldn't you want to be able to play a bad ass game with your friend it makes the experience so much better.

Co-op and multiplayer are most certainly not suited to all games. Remember Dead Space 2's online? Me neither.

This game (while it may well have multiplayer) doesn't suit that tone.

Wow, that gameplay was amazing. He didn't even hesitate with that last shot. Loved how he ran out of bullets and there wasn't an extra box conveniently laying around. You have to improvise. This will be an epic survival game. Can not wait.
