Just saw it this morning for the third time. The crowd was into the movie the whole time and it was a pretty packed theatre for a third weekend. I am debating with myself to go see it one more time before I'm finished, but have an itch to try out the IMAX 3D format. I have seen a few reviews saying it's not worth the price so it's hard for me to decide. Any input from you guys that have see in it in IMAX 3D would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I saw The Avengers in 2D this time, 4th overall, with a double feature with Battleship (it was alright, not this atrocity that everyone is citing. I've seen worse movies that are actually oscar winners)

But, I will say this, The Avengers was in a smaller theater than Battleship, and easily had twice the attendance. Oh, and a moron got busted by the cops for trying to video tape the movie. It seems to me, that the most popular moments with the general audience,
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Coulsen shooting Loki, Banner waking up naked, Hulk Punching Thor, Captain America telling the NYPD what to do, and the after math, Hulk ragdoll scene and Hulk waking up Tony.

saw it in 3D on an ultra screen and it was cool. If you haven't seen it in any 3D do it! :-)

Might as well make it 9 after I'm done with some stuff, wow!
fourth time for me and yes! it does get more epic with every viewing. It is the best super hero movie ever IMO.

Just saw this a fourth time yesterday. Took my parents and surprisingly my Dad had already seen it with one of his buddies a few days before.

I saw this twice opening weekend Friday May 4th in 2D and then May 6th in 3D. I have been planning to see it for a 3rd time but always got busy with work or something else. I do plan it seeing it for the 3rd and final time in theaters this memorial day weekend along with Men in Black 3 (maybe not sure about that movie). Also I finally got the art book and it is AWESOME!

I'm at 6 times and I think that might be it for me. Not that I don't want to see more times if I could, but other films are starting to come out that I think are going to take precedence over another repeat viewing of Avengers, that combined with what little time I have to go see movies as it is.
