Literally just posted this in my art thread, then saw this one. It's a fairly simple Wonder Woman redesign, as I basically just added some practical elements to the classic costume. But here's the pencil version:

And here's the final version with pens over it: Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks Doodledude. I really like your Wonder Woman redesign too. Was there a reason you never finished it?

Fair enough. I liked where it was heading though.

Thanks, I actually went back and tweaked the colors a bit because I thought it looked too dark lol.

I still want to explore the idea that Superman's costume is a sort of Kryptonian astronaut suit instead of the current 52 body armor. The space suits in Prometheus prove that blue is a workable color.
After looking at the many Wonder Woman redesigns, I wonder if people just can't come to a middle ground between the ancient Greek costumes and the modern skin tight approach. I don't favor the jacket except if she were seen travelling on the ground. Without it, I wish someone would get around the bare shoulders issues without covering it all up. Donna Troy's red costume can still serve as a starting point for a solution.

The second achievement is when the sword exists in one's heart. When absent from one's hand one can strike an enemy at paces even with bare hands. Swordsmanship's ultimate achievement is the absence of the sword in both hand and heart. The swordsman is at peace with the rest of the world. He vows not to kill. |

My Superman redesign... not really. I just wanted to get rid of the ridiculous red underwear over the tights. As iconic as it is, it's definitely time for a change. I still think it has that classic Superman look, but it also addresses his fundamental costume problem, which is the underwear. I had to make this, I just hate the new "new 52" costume that Superman has going on right now.
