This film has several unsettling scenes that have already freaked me out. The 'Squid-Alien' and 'Tentacle-Alien' scenes are really disturbing the hell out of me.

And it doesn't seem limited to just humans... I always get creeped out by that scene where it curiously "looks" at the box with Jones in it, as if it's considering what it will do to the cat if/when it's able to get it out of the container.

The score for this one sounded amazing to me, not sure why people are iffy on it. Very disturbing and, at points, epic.

Yea i really liked the score. Steitenfeld is one of my favourites. Loved his American Gangster and Body of Lies scores too.

Isn't it great, when you have movie dreams?

I was in this one last night or this morning. Epic.

The crew of Prometheus found a colony of people on that planet inside some kind of spaceship. The alien creatures were harvesting them or something. And they were huge! They looked like xeromorphs only bigger. And they traveled through some kind of portal vents.

And there was more than one android than Fassbender. But they were all good. And it seemed they were the only ones that could fight the aliens.

Can't wait to see this movie.

So I had a dream I saw Prometheus the other night. Apparently it scared the **** outta me. Hope thats a good sign. I also downloaded the soundtrack. I'm loving it. Lots of moody, epic, and beautiful tracks. Can't wait to see the entire film.

I've never seen the directors cut...i don't know how this has happened but anyway my gf hasn't seen Alien from beginning to end in a long time...go director's cut?

That's fine, but it is what the creators intended, watch the behind the scene stuff on the blu ray. Alien was always about sexuality, the designs of everything including the alien were all meant to imply that as well.

That's a tough one. A few years ago Scott said he still preferred his 79 cut, and made it sound like the DC cut was just to make more money on the Quadrilogy. I dunno. I love both cuts, but just by a hair I prefer the 79 cut. The one scene that is cut out of the DC that always irked me was when Dallas is talking to Mother before going into the vents. There is something so creepy about that scene and how she does not reply to him.

Either or is fine, if that one scene is not big to you, the DC works, I do love the cocooned Dallas part, and some of the other scenes put back in.
