We're all going to see it, whether on purpose or by accident. It's Men in Black for chrissakes.

I think MIB as a franchise is only okay, because the first movie was interesting but forgettable, and the second one was lousy. It became too much like a Will Smith vehicle that he gets to do his comedy and one-liners, but the rest about aliens and the mytho surrounding Men in Black weren't amazing nor a real eye-opener. It's not the kind of movie I'd rush to see it in its first week.

Hopefully I'll get to go see this either on Sunday or sometime next week. I'm not jumping for joy to see it but it looks like its worth checking out. I watched the first two in cinema so may as well follow tradition

The first one was touted as a Ghostbusters-like flick, which I did get from it. The second just got too big for itself. I kinda hoped the third would feature Will maybe as a seasoned vet and him having a team of MIBs to work with, but hey.

I only watched the second in theaters and hated it but I adore the first movie. It's just perfect light and fun blockbuster cinema.

I can see the comparison. Ghostbusters is the better film, but they have a very similar style.

I love Will Smith and i enjoyed MIB, but this one just doesnt appeal to me at all. I'm probably gonna end up renting this one (if i watch it at all).

I disagree as I love MIB but dislike GhostBusters.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I think you are in the minority on disliking Ghostbusters. It was one of the most popular comedies ever.

Believe me, I know that I am in the minority when it comes to that film.

I saw MIB 2 but honestly can't remember anything about it. I've thought about watching it again but not sure if that's a good idea. . |

If the reviews are decent, I'll give it a shot.
Part 2 almost killed the franchise for me. And they show part 1 so many times on tv over the years I've become pretty jaded. |

I have to say it's a worthy sequel to the original. It has the same spirit as the original. Old K, young K, and J are all in top form. After MIB 2, I didnt want a sequel, but after this One, cant wait for part 4.

Looks like this may be this summers surprise, it always had a chance of being a hit due to Will Smith but it seems to also be gaining good reviews like the original.
What did he say about TASM?

^Yeah he said that the early word is iffy on the film. Maybe the early word will be wrong and maybe it won't? We will just have to wait and see. I'll be seeing on DVD unless I get really bored.

Eh, I'm not completely convinced because I thought I heard the studio liked it at one time, though I could be wrong on that. It could just be people trying to give it bad press and want it to fail for all we know.
But ****, man I hope it's good. It certainly looks good from the trailers. Though trailers often do that. If it's bad then I'm gonna be really, really sad because I don't want it to fail. Sure this reboot is too soon, but I want them to make the best of it. But anyway, I'm glad MIB3 is getting good reviews. Very pleased. I didn't expect that.

One big movie that everyone looks forward to will suck and one big movie that everyone thinks will suck will be good. It happens every summer. MIB looks to be the latter. There are still a few movies left that could fit the former.

I think TAS looks mediocre but I'm hoping for the best.
And yeah, it is surprising that MIB3 is getting decent reviews. They aren't exactly good reviews but they are decent. After the cinematic **** storm that was Battleship maybe this actually won't be too awful. Again I haven't decided if I will actually go and see it yet but I'm leaning towards "What the hell."

I thought ASM looked meh... right up until that clip where he rescues the kid from that car and gives him his mask. That was awesome. I also like the look of Lizard.
