Looks good to me, what exactly is facepalm worthy here? Oh it's Nike. Must hate everything Nike.

Holy god all those other Marlins logos are awful. They make the one they went with look like the Sistine Chapel.

I don't mind the one that is just a Marlin. But yeah the others are all vomit worthy.

Rutgers wants so desperately bad to be a big time college football program, but it's not happening.

New Redskins throwback >>Here<<

I'm kind of digging the helmet. They made it actually look like leather for that leather head feel.

The retros and throwbacks are going to be Nike's bread and butter. Since they didn't have the liberty of really doing anything crazy design wise with the teams regular jerseys unlike what they were able to do with college teams they'll take the opportunity to do that with the throwbacks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Nike doesnt actually design the helmets. They're all made by Riddell.

I am not positive. But I am sure when Nike designs them they work with Riddell to create the overall look of the helmet.

Better look at the Leather Head Helmet for the new Skins design.

Cheers to the brilliant person that came up with this idea. I love it.

Not Uni Related, but this website is dedicated to all the old ballparks from back in the day. Lot's on interesting dimensions on a lot of them.

483 to dead center LOL

Yeah that is nuts. I'll have to bust out my old MLB game that has the older parks in them. I'm pretty sure the Polo Grounds are in there.

Did anyone every blast one out dead center? That would be quite impressive to see.

MLB debuted the camouflaged logo caps today. I sort of liked the red, white, and blue ones from prior years much better.

I read that only Babe Ruth, Lou Brock, Hank Aaron, and Joe Adcock hit HR's into the Centerfield Bleachers. Not sure if that means dead center or what.

Just awful. Can't ya just put flag patches on the players sleeves or something? Would look 1000 x's better.

New Bobcats uniforms (didn't know they were still a team)

Look very generic and also like they stole the Detroit Lions numerical font.

The blue with Charlotte looks alright. But the white, I doubt anyone calls them the Cats. They aren't worthy of a nickname.

True.

There's also a rumor out there that after Tom Benson renames the Hornets something else more "New Orleans-ish" (I'm guessing for the 13-14 season) that the Bobcats will then re-assume the Hornets moniker for Charlotte.

That'd be weird. Has there ever been a team re-named without moving?
