Twin Peaks the pilot movie. I have a lot of different TV series I'm watching, but I don't list them. The list is only for movies.

Somewhat a weird topic to bring up but you know here in Sweden we're getting an update design on our currency, I just want to point out that I found it pretty cool that the 100kr bill has a Greta Garbo motif while the 200kr bill has a motif of Ingmar Bergman. If anyone is curious this is the new designs.

Maybe someone can help me,

I have this scene stuck in my head where a couple is walking through a street with busy traffic. The camera tracks through the street with them.

It's a silent film, if I remember correctly. Ring a bell for anyone? Anyone know the title of the film?

Edit: I figured it out. "Sunrise".

This morning I watched -

SORCERER (1977)

Director: William Friedkin

Starring - Roy Scheider, Bruno Cremer, Francisco Rabal, Amidou, and Ramon Bieri.

A retelling of WAGES OF FEAR. Four desperate down and out men from around the world find themselves in a crap hole of a village in some unnamed South American country. When one of an oil company's drillings blows up, they need volunteers to drive unstable dynamite (it's sweating nitro) 218 miles across jungles and mountains to the site. With minimal dialogue and music (although when there is a score heard, it's from the fantastic group TANGERINE DREAM) we watch their trek through hell.

The American version is 118 minutes long. The European version is around 86 minutes (but with a couple scenes in it not in the American version).

A great movie, not for everyone, but fans of cinema really need to check it out.

The US Postal Service released four stamps paying tribute to John Ford, Frank Capra, Billy Wilder and John Huston featuring a scene from one of their most iconic works as part of the Great Film Directors (Forever) series.

Fantastic, and they truly deserved to be mentioned as the few greatest directors ever.

I'm surprised they went with It Happened One Night for Capra's and not It's a Wonderful Life, granted I like both of the movies but I reckon the latter is more popular.

It came out at the wrong time, and was promoted very bad. I've seen it a few times over the years, but didn't check up on it until after I watched it this time. There is an interesting link in the IMDB page about the differences between the American and European versions. There were some things cut from the American version that helps with the storyline and the European version had a different ending.

I'm watching Warren Beatty's Dick Tracy right now on TCM, and for a movie that's not very good, I've always found it very rewatchable. I suppose I just enjoy the cinematography, production design, and Pacino's performance that much.
