As I see it, Agnosticism is saying, "I don't know". Atheism, is "**** you!".

Atheism is the lack of belief in a deity. Agnosticism is the belief that the existence or lack of existence of a deity cannot be determined. It's not about finding your own beliefs or that religion is neither right nor wrong. You can be an agnostic and believe religion is wrong.

basically as i've always read... if you don't fit into the few boxes out their.. you fall under agnostic. There's no set guidelines to it.. thus why it's deity and whole belief system is that "nothing is determined". and truth be told.. by your logic you can't be agnostic and believe religion is wrong.. because most religions are based upon a deity in it's figure head. And if we can't decide if deity's exist.. then how could we say it was wrong?

The bolded part is considered "strong agnosticism" saying that the knowledge of a deity is unknown and unknowable. "Weak agnosticism" states that knowledge of a deity is unknown, but not unknowable.

The best explanation I've heard of agnosticism is pretty simple. We believe there could be a higher power (it's not exclusive to being a deity) or not. We feel it can't be explained. Most agnostics also tend to believe in science as well...
The definition isn't as clear cut and black and white as it is in a text book. |

I don't take issue with "we don't know", I take issue with "we can never know" being considered traditionally agnostic. It is for some but not for many.

I don't like Watermelon or hot sauce on my fried chicken so I suppose my black card was taken away long before the Gay marriage thing.

Spidey, normally I'm your biggest fan, but if you've got fried chicken, and you've got hot sauce, and you don't bring them together, that's a sin against nature.

It's worked for interracial marriage for decades. Every church in this nation has the right to refuse to marry or even ban interracial couples, though only a handful still do so. I never have understood the irrational fear that gay marriage, if nationally legalized, would be treated any differently.

Target supporting the LGBT community, with Tees! I'm buying myself a few right now. ![]() Anyway, there have been debates on their facebook page for awhile now, ever since Target came out in full support. https://www.facebook.com/target/post...mment#!/target

I find it particularly funny is that there's an Avengers T-shirt thrown in the middle there for no apparent reason.

With the buzz about Target and these shirts, I checked out their Facebook page. Quite a few people calling for boycotts. Well, I decided to look up a nice list of other companies that support gay rights and point out that they should be boycotting them as well.
Here's a link to the list I found. Sadly, it was last updated in 2009 but, it's still fun. My personal favorites on it are Anheuser Busch, Coors, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, and Sprint. Why? Because that means that by drinking beer and watching NASCAR, you are essentially supporting gay rights! Oh the irony!!!

Yeah, I've called out many of those folks on the Facebook page myself. It's picking and choosing with most people out there. One woman even exclaimed, before deleting the post after getting her ass handed to her in debate, "Target is shoving gay marriage and equality down my throat! And I don't like that!"
The shirts are only sold online, are only viewable if you SEARCH for them, and the proceeds only are donated to the pro-Equality organization when you actually buy the shirts! WTF? How is that getting shoved down her throat?
