Definetly. Finch's New Avengers was the best art of his career. McNiven's work was also amazing

It's never been confirmed, just all rumors at this point. We don't even know when Bendis last issue of Avengers is. He said 2012 is his last year but that doesn't give him a lot of room with AvX only halfway through and his Ultron War story afterwards.

And Finch sucks.

I even liked his Moon Knight run better.

Yeah, Finch would be great if he drew the same dude all the time. Because that's exactly what he does, only they're supposed to be different dudes. And occasionally women.

Same dudes? The guy drew like 50 something characters on this cover and they all look different to me. Man I loved his work here. I wanted him to draw the X-men

No they don't. The only people that look different are the ones wearing masks. Beast looks just like Bishop who looks just like Sabertooth.And still, they all got sour faces.


But there's nothing wrong with everybody looking the same. Most artist draw everybody the same. It's just that everybody he draws looks weird....and on steroids.

Finch drops some nice shadowing onto his work (although he later started to overdo the s*** out of his crosshatching), but his characters always look bland once you get past that and I've never considered him a particularly good storyteller.

Someone who has really caught my eye in the last couple of years is Esad Ribic. His work on Uncanny X-Force and Hickman's Ultimates is ridiculously good.

Here's my opinion of Finich;

He was an incredibly mediocre and overhyped artist for the majority of his career at Marvel, but since coming over to DC his art has improved to the point that he has a Jim Lee-esque quality about it.

While he still has storytelling opportunities, I do think once Hurwitz comes on board, and good stories start happening in TDK, he'll start getting some more, deserved, praise.

That's the most awkward pose this side of Rob Liefeld. She has man hands and her boob and knee look interchangeable.

I feel he's one of the better artists in the industry for what it's worth.

I'm not a fan of Finch by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd rather he drew a comic than Rob Liefeld or Larry Stroman.

Finch's style is much cleaner than Liefeld...

(and I'm a guy who appreciates Liefeld to some extent ..so that's where I come from)

most everybody likes Finch..the guys here are just hating to be different and "hip"...
