They didn't change their personalities; Troy stopped pretending to be someone he wasn't and Britta started to be herself when the group were becoming comfortable with each other, which happened in the scene Mr. Webs pointed out. It's a nice contrast that they're so compatible when they're the two people who put up the biggest front at first hahah.

But she has gone from being at least somewhat smart and world savvy to having absolutely no common sense at all. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, as exaggerating humorous traits in characters is usually the way to go in comedies. But there is really no denying that almost all of the characters with the exceptions of Jeff and Shirley have been Flanderized as the show progressed. This season has really stepped it up on the Flanderization.

To me it feels more like natural character progression. With what I know now I can look back at season 1 Britta and see a chick who's reserved in how she presents herself. I can look back at season 1 Troy and see a geek who feels the need for everyone's approval. The only characters that have been Flanderized are the Dean, Chang and Pierce. Pelton is understandable, I don't know what the hell happened with Chang and Pierce was most likely the result of friction between Harmon and Chevy; I'm content with believing it's early onset dementia.

The presentation of the series and the plethora of high concept episodes make it hard to see the characters beyond their quirks, but that's why I love the show. The thing I appreciate the most is how I can step back from the zaniness (most of the time) to see the underlying mundane.

good that this leaked. it needs to happen also with movies. fans and comicbook fans need to realize that actors are promoting movie and tv shows.

i am always ''crying'' when i see someoen writting that if the actors is promotingthat the movie is good that then its the truth.

Well...I've yet to completely watch the first 5 episodes myself.

Pilot premiered, I was bored of it. Stopped watching for a month. Came back randomly at the Halloween episode. Haven't missed an episode since.

Have the DVDs. Still haven't gone back to the first 5. Seen bits and parts but never a complete episode.

I don't see how its weird. There are tons of television series I love despite not seeing every single episode.

"The Fresh Prince" is another one. Growing up I became a fan during the later seasons of the series (4-6). I can watch any of those episodes all day, every day.

But, i've never gotten around to seeing the complete original 3 seasons other than the pilot and a few scattered here and there.

As far as Community, aside from the pilot which I have watched…i've only missed 4 episodes of the entire series. I'm sure i'll get to them eventually.

Been rewatching the series and just noticed this in S02E07. It's Abed's Robocop vision and I believe this is the first hint at him loving Cougartown lol

It also says Troy's birthday is in 14 days, two episodes later(or two weeks later) the episode starts with his birthday party

And here it hints at Starburns on "Troy & Abed in the Morning" which he appears on after the credits to this episode. And also hints at Paintball sequel

You guys really exaggerate about the pre-Halloween episodes of season 1. I'm currently re-watching those episodes and some of them are really great. The episode where Abed starts taking film courses and makes a documentary about his parents is fantastic. I would love to see more episodes like that and less spoofs.
