Disney's involvement probably begins and ends with approving the episodes for broadcast. The only other thing they care about is if the cartoon is a hit or flop. USM is Loeb and Quesada's baby and should receive most of the blame (or praise, for those who like the show).

I actually wouldn't mind if Disney had a more hands on approach with Marvel Animation. Once upon a time, they did action/comedy cartoons better than anyone else.

Tron: Uprising and Motorcity aren't slouches by any means so they'd still probably do a decent job with Marvel characters. I'm pretty sure Disney is simply waiting for Loeb and Quesada to fail before they kill everything with fire and have a Disney guy take over.

I completely forgot Tron and Motorcity are on my dvr. I'll probably watch them sometime this week.

Loeb and Quesada need to bring in big ratings with Agents of SMASH and the new Avengers cartoon or they risk Disney taking full control. I'm not sure how well USM is doing but none of the head honchos seem to be bragging about its ratings or reception. That's never a good sign for a cartoon that has had a fair amount of hype put into it.

Complaining on message boards achieves nothing!

If you want this ***** cancelled write to Joe Quesada and to Marvel. Below are twitter accounts for Joe Quesada, MArvel and Paul Dini. As well as facebook page for Man of action.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!!!

Paul Dini's Twitter

Man of Action FB page

You are nuts.

Like completely off the deep end.

I happen, to LIKE this show. What do you have to gain by working to CANCEL a show many people are enjoying? You are doing something where your cause is completely negative and destructive. JQ is right to say, if you don't like it: DONT WATCH IT!

Don't work to take entertainment AWAY from people who are enjoying it just because YOU have different tastes. Just turn off the tv and crawl back into your hole. If enough people DONT watch, then the show goes away because it's not making money. Simple as that.

I haven't been to these forums for a few years now since Spider-Man 3 was about to come out... It was great, Coming back now I feel like conversations have devolved.... I think I literally read a post where someone was complaining Thor turning into a frog was poorly handled in the cartoon vs the comic. Thor turning into a frog period is SILLY. People complaining about the ADAPTION of Thor turning into a frog are INSANE.

As far as I'm concerned the longer this stays off air the better. Part of me hopes it will just stay off forever...naw. What am I saying. All of me hopes that.

hell, I'M hoping it all blows up in Loeb and Quesadilla's faces by having the ratings tank, the show being cancelled prematurely, having these two dimbulbs fade away into obscurity the way THIS mediocrity of a show should go and then start allover again by having a REAL creative team take charge and bring Marvel animation back up to quality standards and expectations.

Josh Keaton was supposed to voice Spider-man in EMH. But Jeph Loeb had Drake Bell dub over his lines.

So I can't just ignore Ultimate Spider-Man like a normal person. I might not even care if Ultimate lasted 3 seasons since I wouldn't be watching it anyway, but it seems Loeb is determined to infect other shows I actually enjoy with Ultimate's stink. Every character that's appeared on both shows has been played by different actors anyway, so what's one more? Hearing Josh Keaton do Spidey again on A:EMH would have been the best thing ever, to feel like Spectacular was still around just for a little while, but no. Loeb wants to take that away from me too. And for what? To trick people into watching his awful Spidey show? What the hell's the difference if he's gonna cancel EMH anyway? This cannot stand. Loeb has crossed the line. He must be stopped.

Not every Spider-Man cartoon is meant for the long time fan. Do people not realize there are kids that just get a kick out of seeing Spider-Man? I haven't even seen this show, or Spectacular Spider-Man, or A:EMH. It is obviously not intended for me, the 25 year old who has read Spider-Man for 20 years. What is the point in comparing those shows to each other, and on top of that, to the actual comic book? Quality Control?

Also,we should make a petition for Marvel Animation to air the rest of the Avengers: EMH episodes with JOSH KEATON'S voice and NOT Drake Bell's

You should watch Spectacular Spider-Man. I think you'd like it.

I'm pretty sure they've recorded the episode by now so we'll get whoever we get.

The big question: Does Loeb really like Drake Bell or does he really hate Josh Keaton/the internet?

I for one do not. I wouldn't have even posted anything if not for the news about Josh Keaton.

This is taken from the "renew Avengers EMH" face book page:

"Dear followers and friends,

The time has come for us to let our voices heard! After watching the AMAZING episodes of Avengers EMH, that aired in Australia, i feel more than ever, that cancelling a show of this quality is a crime. And keeping that horrible Ultimate Spider-man cartoon is another crime of the same magnitude.

Let us all act, and show Marvel, Joe Quesada, and Man of Action, that we want Avengers EMH to continue for a third season, and that we want Ultimate Spider-man cancelled, and replaced by either season 3 of Spectacular Spider-man (highly unlikely) or a new Spidey show of the same quality Spectacular had.

Please, i urge all of you to send a message to Joe Quesada, Marvel and Man of action through twitter and facebook. Below are the links and addresses for their Twitter/Facebook pages:

Joe Quesada's Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/joequesada

Marvel Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/marvel

Marvel FB page: http://www.facebook.com/Marvel

Man of Action FB page: http://www.facebook.com/ManOfActionStudios

Paul Dini's Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/paul_dini

Brian Michael Bendis FB page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/THE-OF...IS/97275706360

Brian Michael Bendis Twitter page: https://twitter.com/#!/BRIANMBENDIS

Please act and let us make history. Remember to be polite, professional and never use vulgar words. Let us let Marvel animation know what we want (avengers EMH) and what we hate and do not want (Ultimate Spiderman cartoon).

I also suggest to tweet with the following hashtags #renewavengersemh and #cancelultimatespiderman

Let us all make history! We could not save Spectacular Spider-man and we could not save Wolverine and The X-men. But i believe, with the current technology and social media, we can make a change!

Retweet, and share this post with all your friends and let us make history!

Regards,
"

I couldn't agree more. I just can't stand Ultimate Spiderman cartoon anymore. Especially since it is spilling over the excellent avengers emh.

I hope loeb gets fired soon!
