Yeah, the Yankees are not a complete team this year. They'll be in it at the end but I won't be shocked by another early playoff exit.

The Angels are starting to come around now and I'm not counting out the Tigers just yet. I wouldn't be shocked with an Angels and Rangers ALCS.

Yeah, they have just seemed like a different team ever since the Rivera injury. I haven't been able to watch as many games as I'd like this season, but I don't get the same feeling with them this season that they have a chance to win every game. So I wouldn't be too surprised if they end up as a wild card team instead of winning the East, despite everything that Boston has been going through. I can see the Rays winning it instead as long as they stay consistent.

Oswalt is gutless and lacks competitive drive. His Roger Clemens-esque free agent act this season with him coming in as a hired gun for the second half makes me like him even less.

Old Men coming in at the halfway point ain't the worst plan in the world. Be that as it may, I'm not convinced Oswalt will be a fit for the Rangers. If he falters at all, I'm comfortable with him taking a long relief role. Let Alexi and Scooter get the starts.

But then it all depends on how much the deal was for. I hope they didn't go overboard. We still gotta pay Josh at the end of the season.
