Wish I could've seen him in more serious roles, though, he was a damn fine actor outside of his comedies.
Same. It really didn't need to be 2 hours long. Fury was quite good tho. Maggie Q. lol its fiiiine, Scrappy Coco is alot of fun! It's a shame he did Jack and Jill and continues to slide rather than do a sequel.

I'll have to watch it again soon! Need to bring it all back to me for some better perspective. Original Poseidon Adventure has him as the Captain!

Yeah I remember the Paul Bettany as Joker push, the constant obsession with his role in Gangster no 1 as some sort of selling point that he'd make a great Joker. It would have been interesting to watch, I certainly liked that idea more than Crispin Glover or...Lachy Hulme
Aaaah...... Crisping Glover, Lachy Hulme, Steve Carell, Robin Williams... who else was in the Joker running?

After seeing what Ridley Scott is doing with Prometheus and (eventually) Blade Runner, He seems to be making new franchises rather than just nostalgic bookends to his career. I'd love to see Chris delve into one of those worlds with Ridley producing, they both seem right up Nolan's alley in terms of tone and atmosphere, and i think the natural way for Nolan to take his blockbuster sensibilities, is to go full on hard sci fi.

That being said, it's a personal dream of mine to see Nolan do a Bond film, considering the films usually have such a strong set of rules (that have been bent lately with the later films) It would be nice for Nolan to bring his refreshing sense of scale and imagination to a series that is constantly critisized for it's "back to formula" approach.

Maggie Q, oh maaaaaaaaaaaan.

And I remember Nielsen in the Poseidon Adventure. He was also great in Forbidden Planet.

Jude Law? I wouldn't have minded him in the role to be fair. Robin Williams would have been fantastic as the joker, It's a shame we never got to see what he would have brought to the role, it reminds me that it wasn't long ago that we were all nearly convinced that Robin Williams was Hugo Strange in TDKR.

Nolan directing would mean EON would have to drop every regular (save for, obviously, Hemming) in their movies. Now, I know that when Nolan knocks you open nowadays, but that may prove problematic for both sides. Still, it's a dream of mine, too. But how many would he do, 1 movie, a trilogy?

It was ROUGHLY. Adrian Brody was the other guy I was thinking of! And for Harvey, Liev Schrieber, Josh Lucas, and Ryan Phillippe were tossed around.

You could have jmc make a wonderful manip of Two-Face, but Phillippe would still look horrible for the role.

They also share special effects guys in Chris Corbould. I don't think it will be too much of a stretch, I know EON are really REALLY protective of their Bond formula, but you could imagine their palms feeling a little greasy after TDKR makes a crisp billion worldwide.

One would think they're already feeling a little greasy.

But if it happens you won't hear a complaint from me. I jst can't shake the feeling that no matter what storyline is running and who plays Bond, Nolan will want to redo everything. I dont think he'll just come by to continue/finish someone else's story with an actor already waiting for him to direct.

Yes they should be greasy, but you don't turn down a guy who's essentially broken the bank three times in a row. Yeah i get the feeling that Nolan will want to change everything too, which is fine by me because i don't believe for a second that Craig will play bond till he's 56, but i am looking forward to seeing Nolan work with other actors.

Well, if you're talking about the immediate future then yeah, they could wait till Craig's done in 2 movies' time and make an offer to Nolan. And then it could be a one-off or a trilogy.
