My ideal project for Whedon would be a live action X-Men series using the exact cast from his Astonishing run.

Ya but everyone would say that they don't have the time even though it would be like any other movie they would sign up to do.

That's the thing, I'm not saying they should include Buffy or her crew... I'm saying the show should focus on a slayer/slayers after Buffy, but before Fray.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at any sort of Buffy project, but I don't feel one needs to happen. We got seven good seasons with those guys.... However, we were robbed of so much story with Firefly. I need more of that universe.

Well getting Fillion to leave Castle would be the sticking point i think, that's a steady paycheck, a Firefly reboot is a risky gamble even still with all the browcoats out there now.

I don't think he would need to leave Castle. I'm not saying resurrect the series completely, because that would be impossible. Just something!

Joss is big on web series. Do it as a web series. A nice little contained story to reunite the cast for a time. And if they could do it on multiple occasions, I'd be happy.

I still have to watch Firefly, i only watched Serenity but with the success of Avengers i bet that he can finally make that sequel he planed. There were many projects he had planed that didn't happen because of money, like a Spike movie, the Reaper tv show and many other projects, he should try to use the Avengers success to promote himself while the success is still fresh.

I like his Angel and Buffy comic book continuations but i would like to see a return to that universe in live-action, i still have to read Fray but it would be a good option. And CW right now seems like a good place for these shows, unlike with when the channel was called WB and cancelled Angel before its time.

Yes, I'm re-watching S4 with MarkWatches right now as well, and I agree. I still think casting has a lot to do with it, though. I love Kartheiser now in Mad Men, but man did I hate him as Connor, and I really don't think the writing is entirely to blame.

I don't have a problem with him. Like, I can see why some folks find him annoying, but it doesn't bother me. He's a ****head. Kind of the point of him. I appreciate him for that.

I hate Kartheiser so damn much in Angel. The concept of the son was fine, but Kartheiser's Connor made my blood boil with hate.
