Vest looks great....out of curiosity...questions for Rdmaul and David the vest maker...what tactical vest did u use for vest base (type, color)....what did u use for the armor padding(the three pieces on the front)....how did u make the bottom part...separate piece???..how did you make the belt on the bottom and on the shoulders??? Where did you get the red rip chords on the shoulders?? Might try a stab at my own in the very likely event I don't win the eBay vests....thanks..

Say i buy one of these Maul. What would it cost to get it weathered before shipment?
Nvm. Read the description. That's cool your weathering it for free. I'm tempted, but i gotta free up some cash after making my down payment on a Roid's mask.

I just got home and behold a package waiting for me...
A few shots of the vest. Mr. David Bosen, your craft is amazing. I unfortunately couldn't put this on alone since there'd be a lot of looseness. So some shots of just the vest will suffice. The measurements are 95% spot on. For those of you that are serious Bat maniacs and weren't sure of how the vest operates since Rdmaul didn't provide much information, I can assure you he's correct on how accurate the vest is constructed along with the available shots at the time of the football stadium shooting. Time to plug some pictures for David. Good luck to those bidding on the vest. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Velcroed straps for adjustment. Good touch. ![]() ![]() ![]() The finer details make this vest shine a lot. I didn't even know the left and right straps were different. I thought I was missing a part of the button for the left side. Silly me! ![]() ![]() Once again, thank you Ryan and David for bringing this out to the limited number of us. God bless! And... LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!

The belt is very loose/large. I assume the adjustment is only avaible on the back right (?)
I tightened the 6 outside straps on the back and the big velcroed inside strap, still the belt is big. Am I missing any other places to adjust? |

Maybe David miscalculated? I might have to modify the back of the belt a bit in order to tighten the 6 straps even more (removing these stitches to tighten it more).

This was one of my fears if I had won the vest on eBay that it wasn't custom made for me....might be the Siq vest for me.

I shortened the velcro strapping and I took off first set of stitchings to help tighten the belt.
