If this really gets made in the next 2 years based on looks I say Taylor Cole for Diana

Kinda OT: Does anyone else not like this "be happy we're getting a movie at all" mentality that I see a lot of DC purist use

If nothing else, the fact that Wonder Woman has a writer attached means its not off Warner Brothers' radar.

I don't see anything wrong with being happy to get a film adaption. Its equally as silly to assume it will fail or not be any good.

It's not about assuming it'll be bad
But "be happy what you got" is kinda saying we should be happy with the GLs, B&Rs, and Fantastic Fours

They may actually be good films?

I'd hold off on using Snow White. It's kind of the prime example of what the problem is. It beat the opening weekend forecast but the budget is 170 million and I doubt it's going to clear that from the domestic angle.

My choice for WW:

Allison Williams.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4129745/

Bulk her up, give her a tan, and we're good to go.

I promise you, nobody is going to threaten to fire Robinov or try to override him if he doesn't want WB to make a WW movie. As long as the WB Pictures Group turns a profit, his job is safe. The other WB execs and shareholders don't care enough about WW as a character to force a showdown with Robinov over the issue. And the better the other DC movies do, the more secure his position is. Dark Knight Rises will make a pile of money, he'll look like a genius to the rest of WB, and they'll all defer to him if he says, "I still don't think a WW movie will be successful."

Very pretty, but has a resume as thin as tissue paper. Wouldn't bode well for her if she had to go up against any actress who's better known. But then, Henry Cavill got Superman in "Man of Steel," so what do I know?

She looks too much on the girly side for Wonder Woman.

Actual actress's height is not important at all.

In my personal opinion, no one under the height of 5' 7" should be considered for the role of Wonder Woman.

Whoever they cast, she shouldn't be too skinny or too small. She needs to look believable, as an Amazonian, who's been trained in combat all her life. Someone with a body type, at least like Jessica Biel. And it would be ideal if she's at the very least 5ft9.

Again, actress's real height isn't an issue as it can easily be cheated onscreen.

Women can work out and put on muscle just like the male actors who have played superheroes.

She's not. The show's okay, but she definitely isn't holding the screen with her performance.

If Hathaway and Adams deliver in their respective roles, I suspect that the WB will follow in those molds for casting female characters.

So if JL comes first, I suspect the actress to have several movies under her belt. Starred in at least one blockbuster, and be a well-known name.

Olivia Wilde would be the most likely.

I'd say Biel and Blunt would be considered over Wilde.

Blunt's respected but she still hasn't found a vehicle to put her on a must have list.

Biel is a go to for action flicks so I expect her to be up there.

Wilde is both of those plus she was on House when it was still popular so more people know her face.

I really like Olivia Wilde for wonder woman but her face sometimes looks weird, but when she likes right, she's waaay hot.

I like Beil also, no to blunt!

I would say biel because she seems to be the runner up in landing a few high profile roles. Wasn't catwomans casting down to her and hathaway?

So I wouldnt be surprised if she is once again considered.
