Default New Batman toyline not based on any existing property?

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...il&picture=out

At first I thought these might be for the Beware of the Batman cartoon. But the listing makes no mention of it. They don't look half bad. Batman and Robin look especially awesome. Doesn't hurt that their 6-inches as well.

Yep. The Batmobile from this line has already been spotted at retail. According to Mattel, they came up with this line because TDKR just isnt a toy oriented movie where they can market kids. So, they came up with this. Supposedly, each wave is designed to create its own adventure and story. Not sure if there are going to be small comics included in the packages or just panels on the back of the cards. The kids can then act out the story with their corresponding figures.

Personally, I think this is the best damn idea Mattel has had for the Batman license in a long time. Plus, the designs are pretty cool.

I'm down for it. The designs are nicely styled, I'll definitely be buying Batman and Robin.

Do you have a link to the Batmobile by chance?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.

They're pretty nice. Love to see the other villains. Croc is too monster like and with a tail but it's for kids. Love the batman design. Suit is like an animated version of the new comics suit, besides the logo. Which is pretty neat. Wonder if the 7yr old will be interested in these...(it's a girl, might make it tricky...)

These are hitting toy shelves now in force. Ive seen them at both TRUs and WalMart. Unfortunately theyve only ever had Batman variants.

Saw them in a Target here in Australia. Had Robin and Croc. On the back of the pack they had photos of a TwoFace Mr Freeze and Joker, Joker looks pretty ordinary. Disappointed with Joker's design. The others looked cool though.

-The same bat suit for two movies

-some cameo tumblers

-figures

-flying lobster

I can understand how this isn't as toy heavy as the 90's movies when Kenner made the toys.

It's like Nolan was thinking "I'm not making a toy commercial"

No Sonar suit or ice attack suit for this Batman

Saw the joker figure. Cool action feature. Ordinary design though.

This is a cool line, especially for kids. The Batman figure is nothing special, but Robin and the villains are okay. Im anxious to see the Mr. Freeze figure.

Has anybody seen the Two-Face figure from this line in stores or picked it up? I haven't had any luck him so I was wondering if he has even been released yet.

Just picked up a bunch of the figures from the second wave. "Mutant Batman", "Anti-Freeze Batman", Two-Face, and Mr Freeze.
Out of all the figures out so far I'd have to say Freeze has the "coolest" looking design.
Two-Face comes in second, plus he has the best accessory. A TWO-part combo weapon 1) machine gun + 2) DOUBLE bladed axe.
The Mutant Batman has pretty creepy looking snap on Mask and hands.
The Ant-Freeze Batman, well I've always liked ice/white/snow suit versions of anything (Snowjob).
The Mallet Joker's action feature shouldn't be this much fun to play with either.
These figures are too much fun!

I just have the blue/gray bats and Freeze. I don't really collect too much anymore but I really like those 2 figs. I wasn't that impressed with Two Face.
