I don't see how Pete and Carol would get along. Ms. Marvel is a bit too...intense imo.

Or a porn writer moonlights as Dan Slott.
![]() ....it does sound like a porn name. ![]() Depends on how it's written. They could be vastly different people but have a believable relationship. Though I'm sure most don't want them to stay together and you could always use that as a valid excuse for a break up story. I think if they want to go to the trouble of erasing Peter Parker and MJ's marriage then they should at least put him with someone interesting for a while.

Seems like it but I'm guessing it will be a part of the latter chapters of AvX as well.

Kelly Sue DeConnick, the writer, mentioned in an interview that something Captain America says to her serves as the catalyst that brings on her title change:

Probably. Or, "Carol, don't you wish you were a captain like me? But you're not. Ha-ha!"

Has anyone read a lot of DeConnick's other work? I'm still on the fence about whether I want to bother with this series because the art is really awful to me. But I could probably deal with it if I knew the writer were really good and there were some prospect for Carol to get some really good development out of her.

That's the kind of costume I want to see in a live action version of her with only her sash seemingly covering her ass.

Get over it. It'll be the same ass, just covered up more.

Nega-bands, actually. Quantum bands are for Quasar, and he's currently wearing them.

Real women don't put their ass on display like Carol... except perhaps in Brazil.
