I have the large. They are just a tad big, but considering Bane wears his pants high around his waist they equal out alright and I'm only 5'8.

Not sure about my chest size brother. I wear a large in most shirts.

Pictures of my pants?

I don't have the jacket back yet. I pick it up on Friday. I'll have a photo of it by then, but it will still need another whack of black Dye to make it right. We'll see Friday.

If you are a size large is it still big on you??

What are you doing with the dye?

The coat? It's actually a pretty perfect fit. It has a removable wool liner inside of it. It works either way.

The dye is to blend the pockets and belt loops that were added to the coat to make it more accurate to Bane's coat. I dyed them once, but the color was still to light, so i just decided to go ahead and have them attached and dye to whole coat to give it a smooth but a slightly weathered look.

No. This is a black military field coat of some sort. I traded it for a pair of boots at a yard sale i had. I had to add belt loops, bottom and top pockets.

This is the coat I'm working on replicating.

lol Just got Jbrown's mask. It's a little tight on me. I may seek another alternative to getting a bigger mask and just offload the one I have. It's dark green and unpainted. PM me if you're interested.

Question:
What is the best way to color white wool? I want it to be darkbrown - throwing dirt over it only gives the light brown color.

The banepants coat has this white stripe (made of wool) behind the collar that I don't like, and I don't think Bane's official coat has it either. So I'm considering coloring the stripe. Are there any other alternatives besides painting/spray painting it?

The strip of wool is screen accurate.

Yep the white wool behind the collar is accurate as seen in the video. It probably helps with the collar pop too.

Hey guys,
People looking for a (relatively) cheap and low effort alternative for the vest may want to take a look at my latest blog post. It's pretty much done, and so far I've spent a little over $100 and a couple of hours of work.

My vest won't be as accurate as some of the masterpieces I've seen in this thread, but I think it will get the job done: http://kinectbaneproject.wordpress.c...5/vest-update/
