you can always have costume parties if you put a theme to them. I think it'd be a better theme for a birthday.

my parents have also thrown "dead celebrity" parties, "white trash" parties, during the summer. So don't be afraid to jump away from the X-mas theme (after all your birthday is always going to fall in that season)

hell... have a beach theme!

Haha, being a Floridian, I'm veering far from anything beach themed. As for dead celebrity, white trash themes, I wouldn't do them simply because one of the clubs I'm a regular at has those themes annually, and no one really cares for them.

But yeah, that's why I said Winter themed instead of Christmas themed; I don't really want any Christian characters to be an inspiration for friends, but I wouldn't boot them out for doing so; hell I'd love if friends took inspiration from Batman Returns for their costumes.

Ha! Nice. Yeah, there's plenty of fun characters to choose from, and a good amount of my friends are cosplayers, so I know they'd have fun coming up with a costume.
