Daredevils - Niagra Falls High-Wire stunt

He's starting his 45 minute walk in mere minutes. Catch it on your local ABC channel to watch it live! What do you guys think about stunts like this? His wife and kids are watching it live. After seeing the video of his great grandfather falling 10 stories to his doom, all I can say is WTF?  !

I can't help but feel it's irresponsible and selfish for someone with a wife and especially with children to do this.

I know. I'm completely shocked that she's so on board. But I can imagine how joyful and happy she is now that he made it safe..

It's the children that bother me. If it was just the two of them, and she's okay with it, well, they're both adults and can make their own decisions. But I'm sure the kids would rather have their daddy than have him sacrifice himself in some crazy stunt.
