Of course they are. I would hope Thor 2 to opens up or extremely close to the opening minutes of the movie with his "trial/punishment" for The Avengers events. But after that, there is really no reason for him to be in direct conflict with pretty much anyone this time around(barring something with thanos, which even then, I would hope they hold off on in the movie proper. Do whatever they want post credits) My personal opinion.

His influence will surely be felt throughout the film, but I hope it stays just that. Influence.

I don't think they'd be giving her a gag order just to keep from saying, "No, I won't be in the sequel." So I'd rank that as a pretty clear indicator she'll have a role in Thor 2; just don't know how big.

Well, I just finished watching the rest of "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and if Thor's portrayal in that series resembles on what he's like in the comics, I can definitely see now why so many were worried that he'd be depowered for his his live action interpretation back when the first film was in development.lol

My god, I won't spoil anything for those that haven't seen it, but damn, Thor is just a game changer in so many scenarios where it looks like it's a no win situation for his team. No wonder this guy has so many villains for himself that are capable of threatening the entire cosmos.lol

I'm just curious though, if Thor were to receive the Odin Force, would he be strong enough to take down or go toe to toe with someone like Galaktus?






On another note; you know I just realized that given on how this film is likely to be taking place throughout the cosmos, I guess that might limit as to how many set photos we'll get from fans who are there in person because they probably won't be filming as much out in the open where it's easily accessible to the public (cities/towns) and they'll probably stick with sound stages and forests/remote areas for the scenery regarding the nine realms.
