Its my belief that they will do the same thing that they did with the new Spiderman suit and almost constantly have the crotch area in shadow or artificially darkened to take the place of the red trunks. Thats kinda what they did with the first official release where everyone thought they were hiding the trunks on purpose. By the time they artificially shade and colourize the suit it will look great, even without the red trunks because they will be in shadow most of the time...

You are absolutely right!Since almost everyone approved the suit so the subject of the underwear is silly to talk again!Modern suit,Modern Superman!!

I just did a model sheet of Man of Steel's Superman in an animated style, just to see how it could look like. I think this helps us realize how much this suit works so well on every support.

you must live a very pessimistic life if you think Superman is too "cartoony"

Just curious but are you one of those people that won't be satisfied with a Superman suit unless it has the trunks? Or unless it's 100% like the comic suit?

The way I see it Superman (Like basically every other hero) has to adapt and have a different look for the big screen. I like the comic suit but you have to see that if they took that and put it in a movie now it would look outdated.

I guess you're right. I never get people who will curse something thats not 100% accurate to the comics. These characters have had hundreds of different takes and interpretations in the comics so why can't the films follow the same ideal?

As you demanded, I made a colorised version. I used almost the same colors that were used for the movie's suit ( they're just a little more luminous otherwise it won't fit as an animation).

As i've already told you, I'm gonna do the same for Jor-El, Zod, Faora ( and maybe Lois too). Just give me some time please, because I don't have much time on weekdays. I'm gonna try my best to make another one for next week-end though
