Rumor said that Wanda will be back with the Avengers. Her power would be severely downgraded.
Why waste your fingers typing the word "rumor" that negates anything after that as being worth a damn to to read. Rumor has it Jesus stopped by marvel studios and told Fiege ms. marvel sucks and Wanda was better. See how that looks?

But seriously SW>MM when it comes to the importants to the Avengers IMO. Also Wanda and Pietro would bring an interesting dynamic to the team. I do think MM is more marketable and more mainstream accessible though.

Market how? In her standard uniform (stripper evening gloves, thigh-highs and french cut booty hang swimsuit) will never see the shelves in toy stores.

Her boring Superman/Wonder Woman new outfit no one has really seen can make it but due to its boyish look I don't see girls or boys flocking to it at the toy isle

Ms Marvel is still interesting for Marvel. Who gets the recent solo female comic line? Answer: Not Scarlet Witch.

Quote:
Spider-Girl ran over 105+ issues

Spider-Woman ran for 68 issues

She-Hulk ran for over 88 issues

Black Widow ran 22 issues

Elektra ran 37 issues

Rogue ran 12 issues

Ms. Marvel ran 54 issues, Spider-Girl, Spider-Woman,, and SHe-Hulk all ran more issue solo then her, might want to actually do some research next time.

What's the year in your calendar? It's 2012 in mine.

Quote:
According to Feige, both Fox and Marvel have the rights to use the characters in their franchises, since they are both X-Men and Avengers in equal measure. Quote from Feige "It’s a little complicated, but if they wanted to use them in an X-Men movie they could, and if we wanted to use them in an Avengers movie we could."
If Marvel still have characters that has no complications for their movie use, why not use it?

They could have used Hellcat, She-Hulk, Spider-Woman and Black Widow to make the latest solo female comics. But they use Ms Marvel. The reasons are too obvious.

Quote:
Again I have seen no data pointing to Ms. Marvel being anything other than a media push from Marvel to make a WonderWoman/Captain America creation out of Ms. marvel.
Quote:
That's the point of everything.

Ms Marvel got Marvel push, just like the Avengers in the last decades over X-Men. Scarlet Witch doesn't. Any other female superheroes that you think is more important in the 70's, 80's, 90's don't.

A Scarlett Witch movie wouldn't work. Why not put Carol in her War Bird outfit?

That's not the only one. Here's the more well-known Marvel Legends version:

Just covering her butt cheeks so it's not a thong, like these action figures.

It should be an alien-like jumpsuit because her power conjures the costume like, cough, Green Lantern.

Agreed. That seems to be the only thing that females ever wear in these comic movies. They're getting incredibly boring and repetitive, as if all the imagination that the comic artists have is completely lacking in the movie world. I want to see some actual female comic costumes translated to the big screen as they are, not these terribly generic, watered-down versions of them.

Give us either Ms Marvel's original costume or the Warbird outfit, exposed legs and all.

I think I've brang it up before (on a way to make the thighs show without being to provocative) just have slits in the thigh area of a catsuit it would add to the alien look but wouldn't be so garish.

And the *reason* you see lots of jumpsuits: because the GA isn't going to take it very seriously if someone is running around in a bikini.

In alien cultures, thigh-high boots might not be sexual at all but just standard. In the original Star Trek series, alien women often dressed provocatively. We must try to get back to that aesthetic with the modern comic women, otherwise we'll end up with something very boring and overly PC.

They may not take it as seriously, but they'll have a lot more fun in the process. Comic movies are meant to be fun, not ultra serious. That was part of what was great about the Avengers compared to some "darker, grittier" movies including X-Men.

There's suspension of disbelief and then there's just to much. Even Cap and Thor had to go more the way of the Ultimates in their solo films I see no reason why they would full on let this improbable outfit come to life just because it has alien antecedants. They can make a reason up for anything doesn't mean it will work in live action. The original, the curren, and/or binary one with toned down modifications is really the best and only way to go IMO.

Just like Catwoman, Elektra, Tankgirl, and Barbed Wire were all pushed and all tanked so will Ms. marvel. At least make it R-Rated and for around $40 mill so it can keep its hooker-comic look like Barbed Wire did and it wont stain the comic industry so much like Catwoman. Ms. marvel if mad (which I seriously doubt) will be a tanker. You just make sure you pay homage to my sage saying if it does come out and tanks as predictably as I stated. Every time I post I should see a ditto post from you right under mine

Yea makes little sense when, Thor who is 100X times stronger than Ms.Marvel, gets to walk around in Armor yet she's flying around in a stripper outfit. I'm not saying go the Storm rout and leather up but some consideration would needed to be made to seem plausible. I say go the patriotic Wonder-Woman route they are trying to imitate in her new costume.

Yea women in skimpy suits doing magic are never box office gold, yet female super hero comic chics doo sooooo well like Elektra, Catwoman, Tank-girl, and Brabed Wire.

Well you can doubt all you like, but that's like hoping your favourite team will win when you're watching a match on replay and the result is already known and not in your favour.

The fact is that it HAS hit the shelves ALREADY. That figure is from at least 6 years ago or so when Marvel Legends was in its heydey and these were highly sought after.

Do you actually read your own links? Those Spider-Girl comics are reprints, printed first in 2011 or earlier. The latest Spider-Girl comics was cancelled.

Meanwhile Captain Marvel.. which is Ms Marvel in new role by Kelly Sue DeConnick is a starting this July.

Gosh, your prattle keep getting irrelevant to thread. And idiotic for sure for bringing reprint comics as something current. LOL.
