Alba, Rodriguez in Talks for Machete 2

Jessica and Michelle could be reprising their roles in Machete Kills.

With director Robert Rodriguez in full swing on pre-production for Machete Kills, our first bit of casting news has just trickled in. Rumor has it that Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez are in negotiations to return for the Machete sequel.

Bloody Disgusting says the vivacious twosome will be reprising their roles as Sartana and Luz. However, as is fully plausible in the world of Troublemaker Studios, they could just as likely be playing entirely different characters.

Machete Kills, which sees Danny Trejo back in the title role, is slated to begin shooting soon, with Rodriguez diving into Sin City 2 directly afterward.

hopefully machete 2 will be just as fun.. alba needs to wear some sexy outfits.. just got to see Honey for the first time.. awesome.. anybody with interview links about how she felt about the film?

ROME -- Jessica Alba, Dianna Agron ("Glee") and Jean Reno are among guests expected at the 42nd Giffoni Film Festival, the tyke-skewed event that opens July 14 with the Italo launch of Fox's "Ice Age: Continental Drift."

Rather than coming to promote a pic, these stars have been recruited to engage with young film buffs at the 11-day event in Giffoni Valle Piana, near the Amalfi coast, where there will be more than 3,000 jurors aged 3 to 23.

Jessica Alba settles weightloss ad lawsuit!

Jessica Alba has settled a lawsuit with executives behind a popular weightloss device after accusing them of using her name and image to promote the product without her permission.

The Fantastic Four beauty, a mum of two, took legal action against Belly Bandit bosses last year after learning she had allegedly been named among a list of people who had used the item, which helps new mothers get rid of baby weight - even though she has never endorsed the product.

The Belly Bandit packaging also featured the tagline, "Jessica Alba's #2 Secret for a Fast Post Pregnancy Slimdown!"

The actress demanded $1 million in damages and a cut of the profits made while using her identity.

However, the case has now been dismissed after the two parties reached an agreement to put an end to the dispute.

According to TMZ.com, the star has received an undisclosed amount of damages over her claim, while bosses have also vowed to stop using her name to sell their dieting device.
