Default Batman Begins Scarecrow mask (not for sale) and Begins story

http://youtu.be/hyp7D0x-qlQ

a customer of mine, did this awesome review, with a pretty cool pretty accurate scarecrow briefcase.

Also, i dont want to sound like some huge doucher snob, haha, but i was actually in Batman Begins, as a Swat team member, running across the bridge when Rachel went back to the Asylum to deliver the antidote. i can BARELY be seen in the movie, and i was just a measly extra, but that night was one of the greatest nights in my life. i was a heavy chain smoker at the time, and had to do alot of running in and out of the swat fan, and a fast jog down the bridge leading up to the asylum (which was added in post), but it was very surreal. there were about 20 swat, 10 police on horse that night, as well as K Holmes and that cop that goes "ma'am you cant cross" etc.
after we got done shooting, about 4 am, they brought out the tumbler for some bridge scenes, and driving scenes, and in between takes i asked the tumbler guy, if i could maybe have a look at the tumbler and he said "sure, hell you can climb on it and look inside if you want" so i was VERY careful not to f up the sides of it with my gear, and respectfully looked in the cockpit and looked all over the tumbler, asking him a few questions about building it etc.
After each take of us running across the bridge, i went by Nolan and his pals as they watched a bit of playback on a monitor (they were all standing, no setting down slob direction there!) i stood there and watched a bit of it, despite being told not to by the extras wranglers. i figured, as long as i was respectful, and near the man in charge and he didnt mind, then they wouldnt say anything, and they didnt. i actually cant remember if i spoke to C Nolan or not, but i do remember him and his pals not being pissed that i was right there along side them a few times. Sort of breaking "extra etiquette" but if i knew if i didnt, i would regret it later on, so i said f it, and tried to do what i wanted, but respectfully.

Here's a local newspaper write up on it, but i never persued any commercials at the time, because i quickly released that would be a waste and something i didnt want to do.

i got the "standard extra gig" by telling extras casting, on the day of the casting call, that i would even do janitor work with no pay, i would take the work very seriously, etc, and they really saw in me that i was passionate about it and pretty much hired me on the spot. i told them i was staying in chicago with family, but truthfully i lived 3 hours away at the time, so i had to go there for the casting call, costume fitting, and the night shoot itself, costing me alot in gas, haha. i got paid $98 for begins i believe it was, but the experience, and opportunity in itself was priceless to me. and a night i will never forget.

Take Care
tyler
ps, i had watched the gift just recently before that, and being on set with k holmes, all i kept thinkin was "i literally just saw you nearly naked, hahah" i nerded out silently, and perv-o-y, haha

here are some pictures i took that day/night. i wasnt supposed to take pictures of me in costume, but i said "f it" and took some anyway, i respectfully didnt share them until the movie was about to be released though, in order to uphold my original passionate statement to extras casting

and here is how small of a second and how barely visible i was in begins, haha:

This is a great story
Congrats man, I'm very jealous that you even get to be in a frame of this spectacular trilogy.

Very nice story! You're a lucky man to have been in a Christopher Nolan movie

And that Scarecrow mask ain't half bad, either
