I really hope wherever he is, no matter what universe or reality, that David Cain is suffering some form of punishment. That guy needs more than a few bullets inside of that sadistic head of his.

I'd like to see Jason stop using guns so much. if he was trained by Batman and then by Talia and her people, he should be pretty bad ass in hand to hand.

I'd like to see Jason go back to being a bad guy instead of being an anti-hero type character. Since he's been nice guy anti-hero it's minimized the impact of his death and even the impact his resurrection as a murderer and the effect it had on Bruce in my mind.

Jason has probably been at his best under Lobdell. Shockingly.

I mean, if the point is for the effect on Bruce then jason's death/being a villian still plays as bruce's greatest failure. With jason as a buddy buddy antihero, not so much. I'm not saying you're not right and it hadn't run its course but if that's the case, then writers should portray bruce as still being haunted by jason's death/betrayal. Alfie best remove them pixie boots and tunic.

I don't recall any major incidences of Bruce being all angsty over it yet.

Touche, but that's my point. Jason's death and even his susequent return had become Bruce's biggest failure, perhaps even more angsty-worthy than his parents death. I'm not against character evolution, I'm not against Bruce getting over it, and I'm willing to bet there's a solid story in there for any writer who wants to tackle it.

What's been happening for almost a year already. Jason realizes that there is more to living than "boo hoo daddy didn't avenge me" style lashing outs. He's a much better character for it.

This October, one of the most notorious villains in comic book history is making his return to DC COMICS-THE NEW 52. In the new storyline, “Death of the Family,” The Joker will come out of the dark in a horrifying, unnerving, and huge way. My biggest problem is with the word "back." The Joker's been in Batman's comics pretty steadily. I mean, he just lost his face a few months ago.

But he hasn't been seen in any major way for a while. Morrion was using him as Oberon Sexton in his Batman & Robin run, which meant no one else was allowed to use him. And then he popped up very briefly in Snyder's Detective run and then in the first issue of Detective Comics. Needless to say, he's been out of the game for a while.
