It's pretty clear that while this is a good game in movie based games standard, it really suffers in many ways for being tied to the film series. They really should have made an original game not based on the movie instead. I don't really see any reason not to since they didn't have any of the movie actors in it anyway.
It's all about money, brother. That's why as long as Activision is heading up Spidey we'll never get a proper 616 game.

Yeah and that's damn unfortunate because Beenox really has the potential. If Beenox could have completely free hands to write an original story they could make something truly great!

Sure, they are not a Rocksteady studio, they have alot of things they need to get better at. Such as textures and polish (which is a cause of limited time and resources I guess). But they really do have heart and that takes it a very long way in the right direction I think. Even if Beenox isn't perfect and lacks great talent in some departments, it somehow feels like we fans and them have a great, friendship-like relationship, and I wouldn't want to switch them out in the nearest future. It sounds weird but for the first time, I feel like the game developers of a Spidey game really listens to their fans in a good way, and that they know their Spider-Man.

CBMs in the near future I'm most looking forward to at this moment: 2) Thor 2, 3) Man of Steel, 4) The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 5) Guardians of the Galaxy (would be higher in the list if it wasn't for how much I hate the film Super from the same director).

Talking about money, I'd like to see how this game is doing.

How many glitches did everyone face in this game? Approximately? How much is darn annoying and how much is mildly annoying?
I hope they are less than glitches I faced in Web of Shadows, that one has the biggest amount of glitches that bothered me

Sport games and First Person games should NOT have camera problems, if those have them then that's lame

Any news on when any DLC will be on Xbox? I'm sick of waiting for the Raimi suit.

Every game has camera glitches or issues at one point or another and some games worse than others. The camera in ASM however is done extremely well and is probably the best camera system yet for a Spider-man game. For example, while crawling on the wall or ceiling you can completely control the camera to look wherever you need to look. It has a minor limitation in the overall scope of its movement but it works very nicely.

I've only seen a few glitches where an enemy has partially moved into the wall but on each of those occasions, he popped back out after a second or two.

During the swinging and web rushing there is no real framerate issues. Everything moves along pretty smoothly and I've only seen a couple of real minor screen tearing...barely worth mentioning and nowhere near the catastrophe of WoS.

Nothing yet. But I'm hoping they have some really cool DLC planned for this game and the number one fix in my book has to be the inclusion of continuous random crimes.

I'm sure they're gonna start going into production of TASM 2 game pretty soon?

So wait, when did the comics start appearing on the mini-map? I got to 500, and just looked at my mini-map and saw these yellow dots, and I was like "Son of a *****". Were they there forever?

No, probably start with a 2013 game since they do this stuff yearly, and then TASM2 for 2014.

No, lol. They actually start appearing once you attain 500.

That's more than likely the scenario. Hopefully though, Beenox does again what they did with ASM and EoT. Have the larger part of the group working on ASM2 and a small team works on the yearly crap game that I probably buy anyway just cause I'm a Spidey nut.

I'll only buy it if it's free roam :P

That eases up the grief a bit

Something good came out of WoS, lol
Only problem is -and I don't like saying it- WoS did it better, at least you can see dots on the mini maps showing emblems after collecting the first important 1,000 of the important 2,000, halfway through, with they kind did the same here

Got the game on the 29th and i'm loving it, im not rushing into anything, having my fun with it. got the achievement for linking webrushes ( i love that system)

I thinks its a really solid game. Im really happy with it

Also playing the game and there is a mental facility patient hugging a tree... still a better love story than Twilight

also i wonder if it is an homage to the meme

Some of the dialogue between Spidey and the mental patients while you're swinging them back to the police were gold.:

Patient: Now that we're so close, I should probably tell you...I'm a virgin.
Spider-Man: Oh god...

As far as glitches...I didn't come across any.

Yeah, the cross-species bosses were pretty weak, though I personally don't consider them "proper" boss battles, so with that in mind their simplicity isn't too much of an issue for me. I think if they had more of an individual story, as opposed to generic lab experiments that got loose, they'd carry more weight, and in turn, their actual fights might have been improved.

And yes, I'm eagerly awaiting PSN dlc so I can (hopefully) get the Raimi suit...

so im on my 100% quest and im focusing on taking my villan pictures now, but i stumbled across a problem, ive taken pictures of every enemy except a seeker and in the process of trying i got 100% completion on hunter fights, but i still only have 80% on seeker fights , does this mean no more seekers will come? meaning no picture & no 100% suit

If you go to your apartment, and select the cork board next to the window, you can chose to replay any missions in the game, so that *should* give you a chance to snap a picture of a seeker...

I haven't tried the replay options yet...what happens when you complete a replayed mission? Does it knock you back to the apartment? I assumed that it was like choosing a scene in a DVD menu - the game picks up again where that replayed mission ends. If not, then I don't know what to tell ya.

When you complete the game and haven't photographed everything, whats-her-face shoots you an email letting you know who you still need to take pictures of. I can't imagine they'd do that if they didn't give you the ability to finish that.

Damn, that sucks. I don't think I photographed any of the seekers, either. I'll have to look into it this evening.
