Finally something I agree with. Norrington's Blade was pitch perfect and ticked all the right boxes. Watching Blade again it's extremely hard to believe he's not directed a movie since LXG.

Finally something I agree with. Norrington's Blade was pitch perfect and ticked all the right boxes. Watching Blade again it's extremely hard to believe he's not directed a movie since LXG.

yeah he has not done anything since lxg! he should come back and finish it off right!

Whatever Marvel does with Blade.It will be reboot.The problem Is wesley Snipes owns Blade so much I may have no Intrest.Blade the series was basiclly a contunion of the
films.It Is easier for recasting for me than this consent rebooting studios want to do.And reboot means saying the earlier films never happened.Blade became popular because of films.I still wished we would have gotten a direct to DVD wrapup film for the show.I would prefer contuning Blade from where the series left off.

It should just stay the way it is for now, I still think the original Blade still stands as one of the blueprints to how to make a great comic movie.

In my opinion a Tomb of Dracula tv show would be cool, if they indeed start with another Blade movie then Wesley Snipes should return, but i doubt that would happen.

I'd like to see the character's anime' adventures continue.. unfortunately G4 pulled the plug on broadcasting the show.. at least it's out on DVD this summer..

Keep Snipes. He's awesome in his fight choreography. AND GET BACK THAT ORIGINAL DIRECTOR OF THE FIRST FILM. Norrington is fabulous. (I doubt he'll come back tho. Ithink he just got fed up with hollywood and retired.)

Please...no more 'reboots'. Sick of reboots.

I got mixed feelings about the anime series. It could've been so much better, however I thought the final episode was pretty kick ass. It showed me what could've been done with that series.

As much as I love Wesley for all he has done for Blade, the character is bigger than the actor and I wouldn't mind seeing a Blade reboot, if they can't get Wesley to do a Blade 4. Though if they go the reboot route I hope they at least update the vamps to keep them cool, sleek, and vicious like the original Blade film did for it's time, in the late 90s.

Perhaps a reboot would allow them to grow the character even more than Snipes/Jones and Goyer did.

I dont see them doing anything with Blade if Snipes doesnt come back, I mean I just cant imagine another actor doing as well with the role.

I would be delighted with a Blade 4 if they can get Snipes back, Blade Trinity was NOT the way to end the series.

Well, with Marvel getting blade back, I doubt it will be called Blade 4. But I don't think you have to recast him to make it a reboot. Keep Snipes and use a well-written fresh story.

Will they, probably not. But I think they should.

I liked the Blade Anime way moer than Wolverine. Wolverine was horrendous, imo.

Only issue they will have is Marvel does not own the rights to the Whistler character he was created by David Goyer for the Blade movies owned by New Line/Warner. So they may have to pick another character or they will have license the character from the studio.

the first blade was so badass... the second one was good too, and the third was kinda meh. still pretty decent though. i'd love to see wesley snipes reprise the role. with twilight still being super popular and vampires being cool thanks to the aforementioned movie and true blood, it seems like a good time to bring the vampire slayer back. i realize blade: trinity was disappointing on a few levels, but the original really was marvel's first successful film.

He is almost same age with Robert Downey Jr. and probably still better at action scenes than entire Avengers cast. Idris Elba is old as well, probably not as fit as Snipes and doesn't have fighting training. Also he is Heimdall in MCU.

Don't know exactly how it would go down but I picture the next movie ending kinda like this.

Blade(Wesley Snipes) leans against the wall, bruised, bloody, and barely able to stand. His grim expression tells us the he realizes the battle could've gone either way, for it was indeed the greatest battle of his life.

Busty love interest(Halle Berry) rushes to assist Blade and speaks.

BLI(Halle) "You've done it! You've defeated Count Chocula, the most terrible vampire who ever lived. Now, let's go home."

Blade(Wesley) "Not finished yet."

BLI(Halle) "What!? What else is left Blade?"

Blade(Wesly) "Frankenberry. Won't rest til he's dead."

BLI(Halle) "It's never gonna end is it?"

All kidding aside I loved the first movie and think a team of Blade, Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, and Moonknight would ROCK THE HOUSE!!!
