I'm sure James Marsden has plenty of female admirers. He just suffered from the unfair comparison to the overwhelming sex-appeal of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. As for Zac Effron... I think he might come with too much baggage. He seems like one of those pretty boy actors that are popular with young girls but are disliked by boys and men.

Good points. And I wouldn't want to see Zac Efron as Cyclops at all. Penn Badgley might be a better choice if they want someone celeb-ish.

People need to downplay expections.Days of future Past Isn't going to be flooded with
new characters.Remember they almost certainly will have characters returning for original trilogy.People are wanting to down the Last Stand road and have tons of new characters.

Cyclops and Jean Grey are not going to be In this film.The 1960's Is too soon for them
to be Introduced.

In fact I could Imagne seeing 1 or 2 new characters In future more than I do the first Class era scenes.You have Xavier,3 X-Men+Time traveler plus Magneto with at least
3 returning members of brootherhood,and If they bring all members of Brootherhood that
Is Magneto+5.You have 11 Characters right there.That's not counting whoever the brootherhood Is planning to kill,possable return of Moira,and whoever shows up In future
scenes from first trilogy besides the time traveler.

They always introduce new characters, no one is saying repeat the bad writing and dozens of mutants in X3 and XMOW.

If thats the case then I guess we would be seeing the 3rd generation of the X-Men.

1st- the original trilogy
2nd- the First Class X-Men
3rd- the X-Men from the future
