About the only things the DVD version comes with are the audio commentary and a bonus feature called "Assembling the Ultimate Team."

I hate that they don't put the bonus features on DVDs anymore. That really pisses me off. Since I don't have a personal BluRay player I'll either have to bite the bullet and buy one or *gasp* watch The Avengers in another room to view the added features. What a PITA. *grumbles*


Someone will rip the features and put them on YouTube within days of the discs being available, though.

only if you have an HD hookup on your TV. other wise it looks like normal dvd.

I bought a Bluray player only to play the Bluray Thor's deleted scenes.
I still think it's LOW (I'm curbing what I really think of them) on those people involved to pull crap like that and NOT include extras on an older media that's on newer media.
I've been through this with record players to 8 track, 8 track to Cassette, Cassette to cd's, VHS/Betamax to DVD, NOW DVD to Bluray.

Each time they use the excuse "It won't fit on the older format" and they KNOW it's wrong because they can add an extra dvd and have those people pay alittle more, and 80% of the time there's ample room on the other discs.

How come on these torrent files they never seem to include all the bonus features but just the movie? Sometimes the bonus features are more interesting to watch.

I just hope we can get some physical treats in the blu ray too, like a fold up poster or mini booklet or...something. Disney should really really take advantage of this release, although i'm certain there will be many more updated, "anniversary" releases down the line.

They don't need to put much effort into the artwork for this DVD because they know that everyone's going to lap it up and buy it anyway. They could easily have just slapped any old photoshop montage together, knowing that people would still be after what is on the DVD instead.

Does Great Britain even have Target, Wal-Mart/Sam's Club stores? If not then you probably won't be getting the Target version unless you have a trusted friend in the U.S.A. who could buy it for you & send it to, or maybe it would eventually show up on Ebay.

That Target cover is pretty bad if you ask me. the other Blu ray cover looks cool though with that group shot

Nope. The closest relation is Asda, and that's related to Walmart, but they're usually about a fifth of the size of any of those stores.
