I think it's going to happen sooner or later.. It has to.. everyone already knows Thanos is the Main villain in a future Avenger movie, whether it's Avengers2 or Avengers3.. But having Cap, Ironman, Thor, Hulk, WIdow, and Hawkeye going up against THANOS!!! The Avengers don't stand a chance.. When they finally face off against the Mad Titan, they're going to need some MAJOR help to make it believable to honest Marvel comic fans

Would they even stand a chance. I could see Hulk and Thor going toe 2 toe, but the rest would fall in this order: Widow, Hawkeye, IM and CAP.

Not if they use strategies to maybe plan for the fight. They'd probably have multiple fights with Thanos, the first where they all get owned, and the second where they use their heads to fight intelligently, using all of their strengths against him.

not Marvel's Marvels. Just MARVELS. I think they can leave of the studio tag without any worries. And obviously such a project would happen pretty far down the road, 4+ years from now, if ever. It would be a monumental task to be sure, and would probably be the most expensive movie ever made.

In my (delusional?) mind, it would include all the Avengers and GotG and every other character that will have been introduced by then in the phase ii/iii movies. Thanos (and other villains) might actually be fighting WITH the heroes in order to defeat an Annihilation level threat. Just imagine the biggest Marvel crossover event ever, but in movie form.

I figure two 3 hour movies should cover it. The culmination of Phase III, and every movie that marvel has ever done. Sounds crazy, right? It is crazy, but they're gonna have to top Avengers 2 somehow. Why not pull out all the stops?

A billion dollar production budget, plus marketing costs.
