I wonder if they'll actually be going down the route like they did in the comics where Odin throws an incredible amount of near impossible obstacles at Jane in order to supposedly "prove" to everyone including Thor that she's not proper partner material to someone like him (Thor).

That would be great if they don't under-execute the fight and make it actually brutal instead, also have Enchantress using way more magic than Loki has so far which has been pretty disappointing. Most of the fights in Thor left me expecting more, but after The Avengers I don't think Marvel's gonna be letting down in the action department anytime soon. We'll see with Iron Man 3 first.

Maybe Sif should deal with Enchantress while Thor lays the smack down on Skurge. That would be the MCU's first cat fight, and an Asgardian one at that.

EDIT: But you're right, we should save the man vs. woman fight for the Ant-Man movie.

Yeah Loki's magical arsenal has been severely dissapointing so far, especially considering he's the 2nd most powerful socerer in Asgard.

How do you want to see Executioner to fight, like what moves/abilities do you really want to see him do?

Yeah, maybe with the Enchantress in the picture Loki will get to show off more of his magic as well. I mean, the only things he's done so far is energy blasts and illusions.

I'd love to see Skurge's heat/ice attacks with the Bloodaxe, if they don't include that then there's no point in having it in the first place. He and Enchantress should also get around with the dimensional rifts that the axe can create; Not because Enchantress has to, but because it's easier transportation than using her own magic. If Skurge is going to be opening dimensional rifts, I'd like for Thor to learn the same ability with Mjolnir.

I'd think there would probably be some conflict, although Odin did seem accepting of the idea of Jane at the end of Thor "she searches for you..." even if he never expected to actually meet her.

^ Speaking of Heimdall, it would be sweet if he had a one on one fight with Executioner especially if they include his sword's "cosmic flame" ability.

He's most likely gonna lose since Thor's the one that has to defeat Skurge, but it'd be a good chance to show what he's made of.

I can imagine Thor hurling lightning at Skurge from Mjolnir, and Skurge spinning his axe to deflect the massive bolts as he stampedes towards Thor. Thor then digs his fingers into the floor and rips it upwards like a ramp, causing Executioner to clumsily slide backwards after trying to run up it. Thor swoops forward through the air to strike him with Mjolnir, yelling "Have at thee!", but Skurge holds up his Bloodaxe and parries the shot causing a massive shockwave to shatter the earth beneath them. The two warriors then struggle, holding up their weapons and not budging as they attempt to best each other's strength. A sudden bootstomp from Executioner to Thor's stomach sends him flying back through a few statues. Skurge then turns and walks away from the ruins, thinking he's bested the mighty Thor as he creates a rift to escape through. All of a sudden, Mjolnir shoots from the debris, swooping in between Skurge's legs and right into his chest. This sends Executioner hurling backwards as the rift then closes, while he goes smashing through even more walls than his attack sent Thor through. Thor then launches himself upward as his hammer curves through the air back into his hand.

Meanwhile... Skurge turns in the air and makes a landing, skidding back on his feet while he recovers from the hit, finally slamming down the Bloodaxe to slow himself down. As Executioner lifts his head, he sees a whirlwind building around him while Thor spins Mjolnir over his head... but to Thor's surprise, Executioner holds his ground and instead encases the entire whirlwind in solid ice. Followed by a slice of his axe, the frozen structure shatters. Thor flies towards him as Mjolnir surges with lightning, but Skurge quickly slices open a dimensional rift that intercepts Thor right in front of him. Another rift created by Skurge opens behind him causing Thor to come flying out of it confused, followed by Skurge's elbow to his nose as a deafening crack echoes through the area.

Approaching a dazed Thor on the ground, Skurge lifts up his Bloodaxe and swings it down into the mighty Asgardian. At that instant, Thor holds up Mjolnir to block as the two legendary weapons then connect, gritting his teeth while massive amounts of lighting surge from it. Skurge narrows his eyes in determination, as crimson energy flows from the Bloodaxe to combat Thor's godly electricity causing a beautiful display of battling energies. Besting him in the test of might, Thor finally smacks the Bloodaxe from Executioner's grasp and propels his fist straight into his face as the air between them ripples. Skurge is sent sliding across the ground on his back, leaving a path of destruction behind him.

As Skurge stumbles to regain his stance, Thor lands in front of him and unleashes a flurry of rage-fueled punches into his face while Mjonir hangs from his wrist by the strap, but Skurge catches Thor's fist and halts the last blow. Skurge then connects his knuckles with Thor's jaw, sending him skidding back on his feet, followed by a roll to his Bloodaxe to regain it. Swooping Mjolnir back up into his hand by the strap, Thor quickly recovers and smashes the top of the hammer into Skurge's face before he can react. The thunderous impact flings him up into the sky, his body rapidly flipping as he ascends. While in the air, Skurge sends heat blasts from his axe down to Thor. Flying through the air to meet Executioner, Thor skillfully swings Mjolnir as he smacks the blasts away through the air. Skurge unconsciously plunges toward the ground leaving a trail of smoke. Bloodied and bruised, Thor lands on the ground with a kneel, followed by the sound of thunder from his previous lightning attack. Man I really hope they're imaginative enough to incorporate H2H combat, weapons combat, and element attacks into Thor/Skurge's fight.

So, to me, that suggests an inevitable rematch, with Thanos looking for a little payback.

Did Warlock have his Soul Gem in GotG? If so,maybe the ones in the vault are fake and Odin entrusted the Gems to different people like IW.

Thanks dude, that means a lot coming from one of the biggest Thor fans in the forums. I agree, they really need to be imaginative and use a little of everything. I'm expecting a brutal showdown, after that fantastic Avengers finale I think Marvel gets it now.

There's absolutely no need to see Thor stoop to that kind of level. His conflicts with Enchantress are magical and psychological, they've *never* been physical. He doesn't need to smack her around and punch her out to defeat her.

Like PowerCosmic said, it'd be great to actually see the MCU's first catfight by letting Sif take shots at Amora, and god knows Sif *has* tangled with her on many, many occasions. Would make a helluva lot more sense.

Yeah me too I'm expecting something on the scale of Thor's fight with Iron Man mixed with the destructiveness of the Thor vs Hulk fight.

I really don't want their fight to be short, tame, and low on destruction like both of Thor's fights with Loki.

I could see Amora threatening Jane near the end of the movie while Thor and Skurge battle, Jane freaking out and then Sif stepping in... 'I will handle this!'. Cue catfight .

I would hope Enchantress and Thor mix it up..including sif, or even jane(however unlikely, just throwing it out there) just to fight enchantress so you don't get the 'man fighting a woman' thing is a stupid effing cop-out. No reason for her to be the villain if she can't mix it up with the big boys
