Its the logical way to go of course. So about how much does fiberglass makes a pound?

Not sure. I think it depends on thickness or grade maybe. I read a square yard of it being 4 oz. So it depends how many layers you place.

My gut is telling me they probably weigh a little over a hundred pounds a piece..but its been wrong before.

That is not clear. There were gaping holes in the LR article and they have a track record of being wrong. The actor in question had an uncanny resemblance to JBD, as I showed in some profile shots.

The simple answer is we don't know for sure yet, but I think it's highly doubtful this is Rhodey.

Highly Doubtful? I think it's perfect sense that it's Rhodey. The person in the suit could've been a stunt actor -- we don't know jack **** about what's going on that scene. Rhodey taking his armor, adding stars and stripes makes sense because he's pretty much the Iron Man of the government now post-IM2. He even had the damn War Machine rockets on the back of that Iron Patriot armor.

LR's source really is "close to the production," as in a local to the area. Notice how most of their IM3 scoops come around the same time that particular scene is being filmed. Like the Stan Lee cameo (where he hosts a pageant) , and this set photo is from a day ago. You can wait for confirmation obviously, but they're legit.

The only evidence it's Rhodey is a LR story, where they were correcting themselves based on a guy they talked to on set. LR has a horrible record of inaccurate stories.

Not saying it IS War Machine, but your logic here is lacking.
RDJ's stunt guy on Avengers was black.
Doesn't mean it was actually Rhodey in the suit the whole movie.
A stunt guy's looks when he's in armor or CG'ed out don't matter at all.
