Great pics Hunter.

Here's Malak, pre Darth, and Mando Rohlan Dyre. It's a cover image to SW:KOTOR #42.

Revan first wearing Mandalore's helmet, and Malak in red.

SW:KOTOR #13, with Mandalore The Ultimate!

SW:KOTOR #11 cover, featuring the bounter hunting Moomo brothers

SW:KOTOR #13

Embo is super cool.

I wonder what Sidious thought when Maul was killed? I wonder if Maul was killed before Sidious wanted? I remember hearing around the time that TPM was coming out that Lucas considered keeping Maul, but was afraid of him becoming more popular than Vader, you ever hear anything like that.

It was a leak from the upcoming Darth Maul book 'Shadow Conspiracy'.

I can't wait, A Jedi in Mano armor is like my geek creation!
The Maul book sounds interesting. I'll have to look into it.

I know right, a Jedi in Mando armor is awesome! Especially Obi's looks pretty darn cool.

Quote:
hope when we see him return he's in his classic armor and coming for Slave 1!.

Hmm, I thought Bo-Katan was more a soldier than a bounty hunter though. Unless it's Embo they are talking about as he seems to have two arcs this season. I'm really glad the Death Watch are going to play a big role.
We could still see him during this season, but even the IGN coverage said Boba wouldn't be showing up. Maybe they just don't want to spoil his awesomeness?!

It could be Embo too. I'd be fine with that. His wolf pet Marack was in the preview too! I agree, the Death Watch should be awesome this season.

Oh yeah, the Sideshow stuff is always north of $200.

Definitely, Wicket whipped up a batch of his special sauce!
Whoa, that's a lot, but I'm sure it'd be worth it, and that the quality is really good.

The Boba w/ Han in Carbonite and Leia with R2 are my favourites.
It's truly a fan show.
Do you have those two particular pieces?

I think so, I think she disagrees with uniting with Maul and Opress and teams with Obi-Wan against them, to take back Death Watch for Mandalore.
Maul, and the Death Watch joining forces?! That's a good reason for why Obi would team up with her. I can't wait to find out though! Hurry up season 5!

I agree, such a great part.

Yeah fans were not happy, I've only read his story based on the game via Wookiepedia, and I dig his look, part Mandaloria warrior, part Jedi Knight.
He's got a pretty cool look, and an interesting history. I wouldn't be surprised if they do more material on Revan.

I think the PT really enhanced his character and makes me enjoy him even more in ROTJ as he has this great Machiavellian back story.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I like what Lucas did with him.

I agree. The prequals also showed us just how manipulative that he is. I still can't believe the Jedi couldn't realise he was manipulating everyone, and everything. The ways of the Sith are mighty indeed.

As to the Emperor. He was great in TPM, but I think they got way to obvious and OOT with in the other two films. By the end of EPIII he was crackling like the Wicked Witch of the West.
I liked him in all 3 prequals, but I can see your point. It was obvious, but that's probably how Lucas intended it.

I'm not sure about the force lightning making him old though. That wasn't how I thought he'd end up looking like that.

He is is one of my favorite character arcs in the PT. He's the ultimate villain in my book, manipulative and cunning. Even when things didnt exactly go his way, he found a way to take advantage of the situation.

I think that's when Sidious' beef with Kenobi started lol. I doubt he was a happy camper, but finding Anakin was a positive development for him. He probably figured he would just have to have a bit more patient

Sidious lost his rights to being called even the 4th best villain in the series when his entire planned hinged on Anakin being a complete idiot.

His plan was set in motion before Anakin was even a thought in his mothers mind. His plan didn't hinge on Anakin, but Anakin was an important piece to total domination of the universe. If he hadn't turned he would of defeated the emperor eventually even if he was the lone Jedi in the universe.

Can't say I heard that, I think Maul'#s enduring popularity speaks for itself though, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if he had been in all 3 movies, I mean I don't think it was ever inferred that Sidious planned for Maul to die, he had nothing to gain by it at the time.

Yeah, he was a cool character during the KOTOR times. Plus he's fighting Malak, before he became Darth Malak.

Yeah, Rohlan is a cool character. He even got a action figure made in a comic two pack from Hasbro.

It's actually not a armored guy, but assassin droid HK 24, which Darth Revan later found the schematics of to make his HK 47 assassin droid.

Probably one of those internet rumors then, as I thought. I think it would have been cool if he got killed off in AOTC instead though. I mean come on, he had a awesome double bladed light saber.

Yeah, it could be. It's cool to see Marack, Feloni said we would. It should be cool to see. Embo is kind of like Boba, as he seems to have a lot of his sleeve the more he shows up.

The SW site also after the episodes air have those concept art, and trivia sections, so I can't wait to read what they'll have for season 5.

They'd be cool to see. 4-Lom should be easiest, because he uses the same type of droid body as C3PO, just design a new head. I'm not sure, but I think he was real happy about being Dengar, so I'm sure he'd be open to coming back. At least he should, lol.

I use to read the KOTOR comic it was really good didn't even know that Malak the jedi would become Darth Malak. Guess when I look back on the things he use to say I guess it makes sense.

It was a good book. It didn't help though in the first half of the series they only refered to him as "Squint", and kind of avoided flat out saying that he would turn out to be Malak. Same for Revan, when he appeared they always blacked out his face, and they never really gave him any name until later.

I don't have any references to any of that though, but that's what the talk was when those issues/arcs were back then. We all knew it was them though, lol. The art was really good when Dustin Weaver or Brian Ching were doing the issues.

They still are doing mini-series' following Zayne Carrick's character. The last one if I remember correctly had him further into the Mandalorian Wars. I think it's good they continue his story.

Yeah Zayne wasn't your typical Jedi by any stretch of the imagination and his masters thinking he'd be some conqueror is hilarious when you look back.

Except his plan does hinge on Anakin. Just ask Mace Windu.

That is what makes it so ridiculous. All those years of planning, all those maneuvers and he couldn't figure out a way to not get corned by the worse swordsman (actor not character) in the prequels?

That was a set up to force Anakin to choose between them. Kind of obvious, really.

I like the older time period take on the Mandolorian armor, and it looks like they used an actor as the influence for him, I just can't remember the name of the guy I'm thinking of.

Interesting, was Revan's a one-off or did he have an army of them? They look like they could be the predecessors of the Magnaguard's.

I'd have loved to have seen him in AOTC, sent to kill Padme while Anakin was protecting her on Naboo.

I have a feeling we'll get a couple of dry one-liners from Obi-Wan and some sarcasm from Bo-Katan.

Yeah, Embo is right up with Cad Bane as my favourite bounty hunter created by the show, and this season will be a break out one for the character I think, as he also teams up with Sugi.

Quote:

I always enjoy the concept art.

I'd love to see some interaction between 4-Lom and 3P0, given hove they are same Driod body design but have complete opposite personalities. Without doubt, if the option is open I'm sure Pegg will be back.

The blaster rifle she's carrying is very similar to Boba's.

Luke wouldnt even know who that was . Besides, from what i read (dont remember where or if it's definitive or someone made it up) Qui-Gon wasnt able to appear as a ghostie like Yoda and Ben; he was able to teach them how to do that though, but he didnt achieve it himself. Sorry, i dont mean to be the party pooper . Look at that art, yay! ()
