Update the outfit for next solo film

I think the CA2 suit should look more like it can take some serious hits from bullets than it did in TA. Maybe have some S.H.I.E.L.D. design choices.

Yeah, I'd like a new suit too. Something more utilitarian.

I thought the Avengers suit looked mostly adequate, but the huge and elaborate boots and boots made him look like an action-figure.

I for one don't want a new suit. Captain America is a symbol, why change his costume when the public is just getting (re)introduced to him? A simple update would be fine as long as he retains the same basic look.

The Avengers costume wasn't bad, it just needed tweaking.

Get rid of the cowl and go back to TFA helmet (with exposed ears and blue chin strap).
Get rid of the elaborate boots and gloves. No need for them to be armored.
No silver zippers AT ALL.
Get rid of the grey on the underside of the arms. Use white that extends all the way down to the gloves.
Extend the white/red stripes around the the WHOLE abdomen.

I think that would look amazing.

Nah, I'd rather them just try to perfect this version than go back to the old version.

Except for the striped area on his torso, but move it over so that it looks like it's a part of the white stripe

It already looks white to me, I didn't notice it being any darker than the stripes on his torso

Here's something I put together that I think could work:

I got rid of he zippers, tightened the area around his neck/jaw, reduced the size of the ear covers and lengthened the white on the arms.

Exactly my thoughts. The only things I didn't like very much at the TA suit were the zippers an the helmet looking cheesy sometimes particulary at stills.

I like the edited image above its so minor to no one would notice, cause doesn't make sense to change the costume dramatically every film, I just hope they stop with all that ripping the helmet or costume that's so Rami think of something new it was only thing I hated about caps uniform in the avengers when they ripped the helmet off it looked so good on screen.

-Chris to eat more and hit the gym a little harder, get TFA physique back

I'd like to see a uniform that takes some cues from modern BDUs. I'm not a fan of the over-stylized gloves and boots, either.

Not really, he looked fine other than the helmet at some angles. I guarantee the outfit won't change much from the way he looks in Avengers. If anything changes, they will only be small upgrades.
