That would be great. I mean, they can do it. Cause we know Thor is like, 3/5 as strong as Hulk in the movie universe. Thor catching Hulk's punch, then using his two arms to over power Hulks one arm (he starts to push it up), lets us know he is a little stronger than HALF as strong as Hulk, generally.

So its not ridiculous to see Thor do something like that at all.

That, and the fact that "acting like elves" does NOT automatically mean Dark Elves (just like in WoW and D&D and LOTR and pretty much the rest of fantasy lit/gaming, there are MANY subraces of Elves).

Well, I am REALLY REALLY trying to not get my hopes built up. I hope I am wrong, hopefully we do get them all. If other worlds are involved, they can be supporting characters.

Enchantress isn't a fighter, she's a manipulator. It wouldn't work, they are completely different characters. It would be like Superman fighting Zatanna. All your money is on Enchantress.

Enchantress is beaten when her schemes are found out or she is outwitted.

Yes and no. When we first met Sif we were told Thor never had eyes for her and that Jane was his first love. Since then we've been told she was Thor's childhood sweetheart! In theory there is still a love triangle going on. Writers who like Sif basically spend their time trying to make Thor/Sif look decent by taking bits away from Thor/Jane. They haven't figured out yet that Thor/Sif doesn't really work. They like the idea but have never got it right. To go there in the movie would be a mistake unless they make drastic changes. To put it simply, Sif was better dating the horse alien.

Well even if so, there should be a villain that can pose a physical threat to Thor. And Skurge would be perfect for that.

I don't feel like E&E are needed at all. Malekith is a great and dangerous villain, cunning and super strong, has some great stories... why should he need either Enchantress or Executioner?

With Enchantress there is also this deep love/hate for Thor. Similar to Loki's brother love/hate. IMO the Enchantress is a great villain because of that. It's getting things to a new level if it's a personal war between them. It also gives us the opportunity to see more magicks rather than just pure hand to hand combat. With the Enchantress we'd get a love-mad, frustrated villain-stalker-witch ... And as for the Executioner, he'd be her pet doing the "dirty" work such as fighting in her name while she works her spells on Thor.

I don't think Thor really punched her in the comics... But Thor has to stop her somehow. She is not like Sif, not a warrior. That's why she is easily beaten if her spells all fail. There is no further violence on her necessary.

I doubt it. It would alienate so much fans, Marvel or ar least Marvel Studios is smarter than that.

We kind of did this week and we already have more info about plit or antagonist than people who are following the production of Star Trek 2. So have patience.

Malekith is only 1/3 as strong as Loki, that's not really super strong compared to someone as strong as Thor.

Okay. Here is what I want from this movie. I am just going to make a list, and you guys can agree or disagree. Here is what I want.

1. Obviously the villian is going to be Malekith and Dark Elves. However, if there is a lot of travels to other words, I would like to see Enchantress and Executioner as supporting villains.

2. Thanos (just his presence, due to Loki, nothing more)

3. More detail on what Loki did in between Thor, and the Avengers. Where he met The Other, and Thanos, etc

4. Odin to show his power, how powerful he is.

5. Thor wearing his helmet in combat.

6. "I say thee, NAY!" (pleaseee)

7. "Have at thee!" (please)

8. After Credit scene with Surtur, hinting at Ragnarok, or a scene hinting at Surtur and Ragnarok

This will make me love this movie

i agree with all of ur ideas...except i dont think marvel will want to show Surtur just yet cuz they would have to set up Avengers 2 in aftercredits

Here are the main things I want from Thor: The Dark Lord

- Enchantress and Executioner as supporting villains

- MUCH longer, more detailed flying scenes

- A well thought out comic book accurate punishment for Loki

- Odin showing how powerful he really is in atleast on scene and continued development of Thor and Odin's relationship

- An awesome script, great acting, and plenty of character development

- Jane Foster feeling like a natural part of the story and not "forced"

- An EPIC one on one battle between Thor and Executioner

- Sif's feelings for Thor to finally be revealed to him

- A badass battle scene with the Warrior's 3 fighting without Thor or Sif

- Heimdall to have a more action oriented role and for Asgardian's physical abilities to be shown much more explicitly

- Thor unleashing an storm/energy attack of colossal proportions and continuing to get scenes here he fights using only his fists.

- Much flashier strength feats from Thor, things like lifting HUGE objects

- Plenty of evironmental destruction during fight scenes

- A jaw dropping final battle/fight scene
