Mostly up to date. BK is playing Thor, wieg dropped DD, and Carnage is Hal Jordan. I think that's it, though.

Character you would like to play: Taskmaster, real name Anthony Masters.
Powers: Taskmaster possess a unique gift dubbed "photographic reflexes", enabling him to mimic the movements of humanoids. Taskmaster is a highly skill martial artist (Batman), is adept in a multitude of armed combat (Swordsman), and is an expert marksman with firearms (Punisher), bow and arrows (Green Arrow), throwing weapons (Bullseye), and even a shield (Captain America). Taskmaster has displayed athletic skills on par with the likes of Daredevil and Nightwing. Once Taskmaster has studied an opponent's movements, he can predict his foes next attacks with frightening ease. Taskmaster can even mimic the voices of others, as well as learn to to mimic movements at near super-human speeds if he watches them in fast-forward, though the latter taxes him severely due to the stress it puts on his body. One drawback of the Taskmaster's amazing ability is that he suffers from a form of memory loss. Each new movement and abilities he learns to mimic causes him to lose a memory of his personal life. Because of this, he has recorded all of his known memories into a highly advanced computer system. With this system, Taskmaster can view his memories in living color, reliving the forgotten events of his past with clarity. Brief history of the character: Taskmaster is one of the world's top assassins and mercenaries. Not much is known about the Taskmaster's past prior to his arrival on the gun-for-hire scene, though rumors speculate that he was once a prominant undercover CIA operative who ended up going rogue and joining the very men he was sent to stop. Another rumor has him as a former S.H.I.E.L.D. specialist who was used to gather information on the criminal underworld, but his memory condition played the key role in his defection from S.H.I.E.L.D. and into the role he now plays. What is true, and what isn't, who knows. If the Taskmaster truly remembers, then he isn't telling. List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I'm looking for a good non-A-list villain to play; somebody I can flesh out a bit and have some fun action packed stories with. And the Taskmaster fits those stipulations to a "T." What are your plans with this character? Do you have a story: My plan is to enjoy myself and (hopefully) tell some decent stories. Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Blue, Bold, Century Gothic How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as need be, life permitting. Please provide a sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 3 paragraphs long and contains at least 1 line of dialogue): Sweat beaded down Anthony Masters' brow as he continued his steady pace on the treadmill. It was 8AM in the morning, and the man more famously known as the Taskmaster was finishing his daily workout routine as the primal shouts and yells of Bruce Lee echoed through the small apartment. Enter the Dragon was playing on his TV. One of his favorite movies, starring his favorite actor. He admired Bruce Lee. Like him, the man came from nothing and through hard work and dedication, transformed himself into the most recognizable figure in martial arts history. Well, Masters had one advantage that Bruce Lee didn't have: the remarkable ability to mimic the movements of any person he sees. Truth be told it was watching old Bruce Lee films in which he discovered his rare gift as a boy. DING! The timer went off on the coffee pot, and Masters turned off the treadmill and stepped off. Wiping the sweat from his face, Masters made himself a cup of coffee, black, no sugar, and grabbed the a copy of the Daily Bugle before sitting down at the table for his breakfast. On the front page, a small article in the bottom corner caught his eye, and brought the tiniest of smirks out on his face. "New York's DA Found Dead In Own Pool" It had been an easy job; the man was in horrible shape and posed little threat to the worlds deadliest mercenary. He was a good man, trying to clean up the city of New York by exposing the Maggia Family and shutting down many of their drug rings and human trafficking operations. The man knew he was pissing off some very powerful people with his crusade, but he kept on fighting anyway. That was something Taskmaster respected. But, those same very powerful people he pissed off had had enough, and the very lucrative contract on the DA's life was given to Taskmaster. And, whether he respected the DA or not, when the Taskmaster takes a job he doesn't fail. Masters needed to make it look like an accident, and he did. Autopsy reports will find the DA had high levels of alcohol in his system at the time of death, and it would appear that he was drunk and drowned in his pool. "Here's to you, you poor, unlucky son-of-a-*****." With a toast to his victim, Masters finished his coffee and got up from the table. Turning off the TV, Masters made his way to the bathroom to shower and clean himself up from his workout. Today was going to be a busy day...and a lurcative one... Post a picture of your character:

Well now I really need to wrap up my Inhumans arc. JB is all about that cosmic stuff. Can't leave it in limbo.
And in general I do apologize. After I wrap this up which I might just do in 1 post to get it over with, I'm pulling out of the game. I just don't have the time for the RPGs.

Good to see you again, Trusty.
![]() Yes, I do love me my cosmics, but figured I'd start small first before dabbling in the cosmos of the OE. Sorry to hear that you have to drop out right when I'm returning from my self-imposed exile, as you were always one of my favorites to RP with. But, life does take precedent and if you don't have time, you don't have time. And that's definitely something I understand. Hopefully one day in the future you'll be able to have time to return, Trusty, as it'd be awesome to work with you again.

I've been on a steady decline in being able to write how I wish to for the past year+ sadly.
![]() But we'll see. I still can't bring myself to drop out of CAH again...even though that is backed up too, lol.

I hear you. You created the character, therefore you've got a larger attachment to it. I feel the same way, as Kensei was alway somebody I wanted to write again.
If you feel up to doing a small story in CAH together, let a cracka know.

We'll see. My summer courses will be done soon but come Fall I will have even more courses. I really wish I was still active in the games and could more easily find the mojo to post when I do have the time to. I'm at work, but your ass better be on MSN more often.

And with that incredibly long post...I am done with Black Bolt. I didn't get to do everything I wanted to but at least I got to reveal who was narrating my story.

Sorry, MB. Can't really wait anymore. Moving on to a new story. And I think I have to say if, but if we don't see a Supes post he's going on the open market. Need to try and kick everyone into gear here.
Dropping Mags. One Earth: The Marvel/DC RPG Character you would like to play: Dr. Pamela Isley Powers: None, yet. But as Poison Ivy, she'll have the ability to control plants to do her bidding, as well as control over her pheromones, giving her the ability to control men and women. She'll also have the ability to create toxins from her body. Brief history of the character: Pamela was born to a wealthy Gotham family, but received little love from her busy parents who were more interested in work and their social circle. As she grew up, she began spending her time taking care of the plants that decorated her large house, calling them her friends and treating them more like people than plants. This love blossomed in high school biology, and went on to become a biologist and botanist in college. She now works for Wayne Enterprises in their botanical bioengineering labs working on super plants for crops and global warming mitigation. List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: This is the beginning of a plan I have for both Batman and Gotham, Poison Ivy is just kind of the first stage. What are your plans with this character? Do you have a story: Plans are to make her the evil sexpot she is. Story is none of your business. Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Lucidia Sans Unicode How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as needed. Please provide a sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 3 paragraphs long and contains at least 1 line of dialogue): "Has the test finished running?" I ask my assistant, Sarah. She's a smart girl...but she's also prone to losing her concentration. "You know we can't be running it too many times. It's expensive." She shakes her head, indicating that it's not done. And then she laughs a bit, "Expensive? I think Wayne can afford to keep the project going...for a few million years with the dough he's got." "Yea, that would sound good. 'Excuse me, Mr. Wayne. Could I get more money because my assistant is a ditz'. I'm sure he'd be thrilled with that," I laugh back at her as I look back down into my microscope, peering deep into the plant samples below and getting lost in their beauty. Post a picture of your character:

I'm dropping Nova, but I want to assure everyone that I'm not going to leave him right there. I have a plan for how to get Kyle Rayner to a better drop-off point; I just know that if I keep him now, my posts will continue to be few and far between.
