![]() The Lady Eve B ritish actress Alice Eve, who first got serious attention in America playing a Vanity Fair reporter on the last season of HBO’s Entourage, is about to enjoy a banner year. This month, the 30-year-old beauty appears opposite John Cusack in The Raven (Relativity Media), a thriller set in Baltimore in the 19th century, in which Cusack plays Edgar Allan Poe and Eve his forbidden love. “I did literature at university, so I had a real relationship with poetry, but they don’t make many films about the world of a poet,” she says. “When I read the script, I thought, This is just amazing—because it wasn’t indulgent. It allowed itself to have a thrilling aspect.” After that, she has parts in two big Hollywood franchises, starting with Men in Black 3 (Sony), out next month. “The movie starts in 2012, with Emma Thompson as the head of Men in Black. Will Smith then goes back in time, and I play Emma Thompson in the 60s, when she’s in a more sexist culture, sweeter and younger.” Eve is currently filming the sequel to J. J. Abrams’s Star Trek. “I signed my life away,” she says, “so I’m not sure what I am allowed to say, but my character is pretty badass, which is fun. I ran onto the Enterprise my first day and fell on my bum—baptism by fire.” The Oxford grad spends downtime on the set playing Words with Friends. “After seeing Alec Baldwin on the news, I thought, What’s he playing that’s so good he doesn’t want to turn his phone off? I got the app because of that.” |

Gorgeous lady, I liked seeing her in MIB. She reminds me of somebody I knew or another actress but I can't put my finger on it.

LOVE this girl.
Wish she had more screen time in MIB3, also wish she didn't drop out of X-Men: First Class. Her as Emma Frost is a MUCH better fit than January Jones, she even has the british accent Emma should've had. I, personally, would've enjoyed the movie alot more. Did like her role in Crossing Over for obvious reasons lol -DOOM ![]()

Richard Kay: Adam and Eve split, Alice Eve and Adam O'Riordan call time on their romance
By Richard Kay ![]() Don’t mention rhyming couplets to actress Alice Eve. The gorgeous daughter of thespians Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan has confirmed the end of her romance with Oxford-educated poet Adam O’Riordan. The previously inseparable couple have split up, and despite her burgeoning Hollywood career, Alice, 30, is less than happy at not being with someone. Says Alice, who has been surviving on a meagre diet of spinach in order to squeeze into her designer space costume for the upcoming Star Trek 2: ‘I don’t want to be alone for ever. But at least I don’t want to have to constantly worry about what someone else wants or needs.’ Broken romance: Actress Alice Eve Memorably described as the ‘boobtastic nanny’ in Sex And The City 2, Alice admits that it is hard to find someone with whom she is compatible. She tells Tatler: ‘I can’t get into an unmade bed. I cannot sleep with shoes anywhere near me — they have to be in a closet — and I absolutely hate a messy cat. Quite a tall order for anyone.’ Memo to Adam the poet: what rhymes with ‘lucky esc |

I have to agree with I SEE SPIDEY, Taylor IS hotter, but Alice is still very hot, and her sexy Brit accent helps a lot (so does Taylor's sexy Aussie accent).
