It's just that it takes far more than raw physical strength to defeat an All Father, no matter how much strength you have.

Not on topic, but none of the instances you've mentioned featured worldbreaker Hulk. Not his fight with zeus or world war hulk ( he only appears at the very end of it).

Anyways it really wouldn't matter he would still get his ass kicked by Zeus or Odin with relative ease.

No, it didn't. Worldbreaker is something completely different. It only appeared in a coupe of panels at the end of WWH(where he begged for the heroes to take him down, like sentry/void on Siege). And I honestly don't know if zeus or Odin would 'kick his ass'. From what he was capable of doing, they would have a hard time with him, at least.

This. I don't see sinking the eastern sea board with a step that much of a feat.

Not compared to someone who literally one shotted Surfer, Adam Warlock, then slapped Thanos around Asgard like a big blue toddler.

Here's a link to all the stuff in Odin's vault,
http://www.dailyblam.com/news/2011/0...om-odins-vault You add the Cube to all that and the contents of the vault are pretty impressive. |

I know that "Thor 2" is probably going to make a hell of a lot more money than its predecessor thanks to "The Avengers".

Loki is going to be ****ting himself. Both Odin and Thanos won't be happy.
I think Jane will be involved in somehow helping to fix the BiFrost. I think we'll see more of Thor as a mature leader who accepts his responsibilities. |

It wouldn't necessarily be that way in the movies, though.

That's what I'm saying and Skurge is no slouch, he was even fought Hulk to a stand still before.

I've been lurking in this thread to see if I could get the answer to this, but I couldn't find it so hopefully you Thor fans can help me out.
I have not seen Avengers....I'm waiting for blu ray. My question is does Avengers answer the question of the auroras Jane was researching when she first met Thor? I was watching Thor again with a friend of mine recently and I noticed she mentioned there had been others that usually occured in some kind of pattern. Again, since I haven't seen Avengers I don't know if that is connected to that so I'm curious... Thanks

No, Jane's research was not mentioned. Jane herself was mentioned in a little scene and that's all.

Interesting... that was one of the things I was hoping Avengers would explain. Just seems so random that what she was researching was never mentioned again.

That was Thor 2 is for, The Avengers had more to cater to than just "Thor" and his character's exploits.
