It looks exactly like the same suit from TDK. Which is slightly disappointing but not that big of a deal. Clearly Nolan felt as if the suit needed no corrections, aesthetically.

I loved it. I had only two problems with the TDK suit. #1. The matte finish was way too dull and uninteresting, I'm glad to see that they've given it a bit more of a sheen this time around. And #2. The suit from the waist down way way too loose and baggy. I'm glad to see that the suit is a lot more form fitting this time around, getting rid of his "Bat-ass" that he had in the last film if you looked at stills and such.

Kilmer's cape looked fantastic. Always billowing, and he used it to glide and look like a bat's visual several times as I recall, most notably when he rescues Dick from the glo-stick gang. Clooney had that shot where he attacks Freeze after ejecting from The Batmobile that was pretty "Batman", and his cape looked pretty solid at the end of the film during all the swinging, grappling, etc.

I think the legs on that are just as much of a cluster-F as they are on the TDK suit.
Honestly, I think using the CA Avengers suit is a good starting point. Stop trying to force Batman to look artificially muscled because(and this is the only logic behind this from 89 to now) we don't have a fabric that can properly show off every muscle the way Batman appears in comics. I don't think that is necessary at all. Besides which, it works better for Superman IMO. So what they've done with MOS is great... for Superman. What I want from Batman is to look at Kane's and Sprang's eras and thus the Timm-verse design and use that as an inspiration for how to let Batman look. He's a big guy, but he's wearing protective materials that are fabric based. Nothing molded and sculpted to look like a bare human torso. Just let him look like a Golden and Silver age body shape i n the suit while using convincing design and materials that it appears to be protective. The manip of the CA suit is the best thing I've seen yet and accomplishes just that. It gave Cap a classic Kirby look, which is basically the same as Kane's and Sprang's style for Batman. It makes for an interesting visual variance juxtaposed with Superman too, IMO. And GL for that matter. |

I'd love to see the classic blue and grey Batsuit in live action, But I doubt if that will ever happen.

![]() I think it would be cool if they did a throwback movie and had it take place in the 70's and base it off Neal Adams Batman. Im sure everyone else would hate the idea though lol. |

I wouldn't mind seeing it for a scene or two for a flashback.

Yep, I see it. It actually doesn't look bad. If they were ever going to make a live-action Super Friends or something, that'd be great.

The belt is ugly but i think it's a really cool interpretation of the character. I'm not as much of a suit purist as some others here. I enjoy seeing different versions of the Batman that still possess the essential elements we need to see.
Are there more pics of that suit?
