So I went and saw TDKR in a LieMAX theater yesterday and was the first time that I have seen the teaser in the theater and boy was it awesome! When they showed the flying scene at the end, and he hit that first sonic boom, my chest and my seat were rumbling, because the boom was soooooo deep. I have to say that my theater was SO boring though. There were no reactions to that, The Hobbit or even TDKR. I mean, they sucked!

I can't stand non-enthusiastic fans. What's the point of going really?

well hobbit is a prequel to one of the most critically and financially successful franchises which was about a 3 billion dollar trilogy

they must know mos does'nt have that luxary

Totally agree other than Superman walking into the fortress and the Skulls clip the kiss got me most excited.

I gotta admit, out of all of the things that I was expecting or thought that I might see in this film...a visual of Superman being buried by skulls and him being chained in handcuffs while being escorted by the military were the ones that really caught me off guard since I never thought that they'd go there live action..and I say that as a good way.lol

Oh yeah same here I was so schoked when I saw Superman coming out of the skulls I was like WO! I really can't wait to see this movie if only I could go into hibernation.

I know! I was the only one that clapped when the trailer was shown and I had people actually make the effort to lean up, turn around and look at me as if they were disgusted at me clapping. That's pretty much the way it was throughout the entire movie. Needless to say, corn cobs and lube were NOT in short supply in that theater.

I personally think it could go either way. Incomplete CGI or it's because he is flying straight up. If he were flying at an angle, I would expect some flapping but since is he flying at the speed of sound and going straight up, I wouldn't think it would flap at all because it has so much resistance against it. I'm no physics expert though, so I could be completely wrong. Sounds good in my head though. Lol

People are probably still thinking that this superman will be like the superman they think they already know and have seen before.
Just wait till the marketing/trailers kick in. You'll hear folks say, ''thats so kool, and I have always been a huge fan''.

Still, I dont expect any records to be broken at the B.O. BUT, If it can do like B.B. did, and have positive reaction afterwards with good DvD sales, then a sequel will happen.

For the angle and the speed he is flying, I think it looks perfectly fine.

I could definitely stand to see the Comic Con Trailer recycled for the first official trailer. Watching it filtered through some guys cell phone was enough to get me excited, I can only imagine what a theater viewing would do for me. So by all means the CC footage would work, except with Zimmers score for this film playing over it.

Also, It makes me wonder if he'll have a score finished by the time the first trailer happens.

There's too much talent behind this to be a repeat of SR. I fully expect this to do well enough the garner a sequel.

I would definitely be OK with that. However, I'm greedy and since I have already seen the CC footage, I want something new. Is that too much to ask?

I hope we get something earlier than December. That's so far away. It doesn't have to be a full trailer, just something with a little bit more than what was in the teaser. I love the teaser... but I want a few more "WOW!" shots. I've seen the bootleg con footage, but so much of the good stuff was blurry.

Yeah, it's not too much to ask for more, and I don't think they'll hold as much back or keep as much secretive as TDK and TDKR because they need to establish a foundation with the GA. The tickets to the sequel(s) will already be sold to the audience of the first film.
So I predict well get a lot more "wow" footage with the upcoming trailers.
