Cool to see all the hardwork the Great Britian Mens Gymnastic squad have been doing paid off. Our first team gymnastic medal in 100 years and it was almost a silver too.

YES!!!! WTG GB! Seriously, a bronze is a win in my book, especially considering how far the squad has come. I wish the women would step up. They can't keep relying on Tweddle.

Don't worry about it, Track and Field doesn't start until Friday. There's also Basketball and Volleyball. We'll get more golds.

I really hate the time difference causing everything to be shown on a taped delay in the United States. I'm tired of going on different news websites and seeing the outcomes.

Happens when there's such a big time difference from the US. The 2016 Olympics should be better since Rio is only, IIRC, 2 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone of the US.

But then she has more miles on the clock for pretty much any basketballer in these Olympics when you consider how many years she's played two seasons (WNBA and Australia's WNBL... and sometimes in other foreign leagues, and then International scheduled games as well) and how early her serious career started, driving the AIS to success all those years ago. We'd be at very long odds for gold and I certainly wouldn't bet on us this year. As I said, its the clearest field the US has had in both mens and womens in years. Little surprise that this is the last year Stern wants the mens team competing, to end it with domination after previous year's embarassments. They also have the benefit of recent rule and regulation changes making international basketball closer to NBA rules than in previous years as well.

![]() It's really hard trying to watch all of them. I was glued watching Judo for more than 5+ hours on the NBCOlympics site. Unfortunately it started to lag out on me during the mens gymnastics final.

Not surprising that Missy's idol is Natalie Coughlin.

Lochte's a damn choke artist and it seems like Phelps doesn't even want to be there. Disappointing outing from the mens' side so far.

It seems like Phelps has fallen off in a similar way to how Ian Thorpe did. Doesn't seem like swimmers have a long shelf life these days.
Makes Grant Hackett spanning over the Kieren Perkins to Thorpe eras seem even more amazing.

Ahhhhh....just got to men's gymnastics here on the West coast.
Feel so sorry for J. Orozco.... I think I have seen him do this routine well at least 10 times, but he just faltered tonight... Once the form breaks start....no bueno

I probably should have said Lochte was being looked at as the big men's swimming star this Olympics. Missy is definitely the heir apparent for being the next top overall American swimmer, regardless of sex.
